Here is a thought, what if every chapter we get to control a character in the weird route. First it was Noelle, but what if at some point that character is Susie, and we fail to control her? There are many instances where she can do things on her own, EVEN in chapter 2 when she becomes an actual party member, she still forces Ralsei to learn R-Action. Our control still has an effect on her though, in the ferris wheel scene where she doesn't know what to do, she immediately thinks of Kris and what he would've done. So maybe we will get something close to a boss when Susie refuses to p r o c e e d.

A boy walks through the cold night, alone and anxious. He wanders his town, remembering the good times, and the places he's been. He ponders why everything happened the way it did. He wonders what would've happened if he decided to do things differently in the past. A wave of sadness and regret passes over him. If he had done things differently, would some people he could've become close to be around? Would the one girl he could've helped and save be around? Would she have at least been able to leave some sort of contact so everyone she knew would be relieved, so the mystery of her disappearance never happened? Would any his enemies become one of his many friends? And how would his friendships and other relationships change? If he had said things differently or if he still had a hopeful view of the world, would his bestest friends be able to see the light in the cold void? Would his bestest friend be able to overcome what happened in his personal life? Would they still be able to spend time together and have fun like they used to? He tries to cry but is unable to. Everything had become all to numbing. And thinking of friends, where would he and end up as time goes on. Would they still be able to persevere through everything despite everything and become their best selves. Or would they be consumed by the darkness of this world in any sort of way. As the night goes on he wonders if any of his friends are awake, the loneliness getting to him. He wishes to have at least one last unique adventure, because who knows when it'll be the last time they hang out. He calls them all on his phone but hangs up in fear of causing trouble for them. He decides to leave them messages offering said adventure through the city, hoping to have them respond positively or understandingly. Either way, he decides to walk to the main city. When he got there, it was still bustling with people, the roads full of traffic people walking, shopping, dining, and whatever else you'd do in this city of money, cards, shows. As he walks and contemplates, he bumps into a man. "Watch where you're going scrub!" the man yells. The boy startled, decides to speed walk away. The boy later questions what else had he been oblivious to during his wandering in the main city. The main city that he had once viewed as a treat to be in for any event or meeting his parents took him, had now darkened. The shady stuff that goes on in the shadows now makes him want to investigate. He then gets a feeling of him being able to handle and put a stop to it all, only to restrain himself as he'd need to continuously search and gather evidence. He again continues wandering through the main city, the cold weather getting worse for him. He then walks to the center of the main city and looks around him. The boy lets out a sigh, now leaving the main city. As he does so he starts to hear whispers in his ear. Looking around in confusion, he continues anyway. The feeling of waiting for a response from his friends gets to him and he decides to brace himself by calling them, now ready to just talk regardless of what would happen. They decide to stay on the call to keep the boy company and because they had nothing to do. The boy offers to have them join through his wandering, but they decline. One friend says they would but would get in trouble. The other says their too tired and would rather talk. And finally, his bestest friend says they'd be a nuisance to him and that it wouldn't change anything as everything is pointless. His friend also questions what the point of wandering would even be and adventuring through the entire city as there's no reason to. Hearing that from his bestest friend felt like a stab to the heart. A tear drops from one of his eyes. He tries to keep it together like he's always done, not wanting his friends to hear him fall apart as he's the one who has kept it together and kept everything/everyone together. It's clear his bestest friend has given up on almost everything and it would soon become everything. The boy decides to change the topic of the conversation hoping to get everyone to lighten up. A little bit of a memey conversation wouldn't hurt, right? "Right?" the boy thought to himself. It was clear that he was struggling to have everyone see the light in the dark. The boy decides to end his wandering for the night and return home to play some games with everyone. The boy then lets out another sigh, this time quietly so no one could hear his pain. They boy looks at the night sky, hoping that everything would be fine if he kept going on and that life would eventually get better like he's always been able to. And then the sound of his friends being his friends interrupted him as seeing/hearing them having a good time playing some games caused him to forget his worries and join them on the fun.
