Get some Nordic walking poles if you're in open country. Not much good in the bush. They give you 4 points of contact and you can use your arms for extra drive when you hit an obstacle. Mine are carbon fibre and weigh next to nothing.

This would work better with a bear. They drag like a wet rag. Scoot the leaves with them unlike a deer.

I am impressed with your willingness to volunteer to help your neighbor! Something to consider in the future: (1) find another lawn care company guy in your area who has a vacuum system. (2) ask him to consider following your lead to volunteer to help you remove all the leaves you have schlepped to the curb. That's all he'd have to do. You both could be encouraged with a job well done, and perhaps this would get the attention of other homeowners for possible future business opportunities. You and he might see a way to work together as well. This is what America is all about.

Thanks for the suggestion, Stukaman! Luckily, the city came to suck up the leaves the next morning so it was all gone within 24 hours! We moved a TON of leaves with a little blower, rake, tarp, and The A.N.T.!

Why not just mow it on high and mulch it in to the soil?

Would have taken longer and looked bad at this property. I usually mulch after the leaf cleanup. - Aaron

What do you mean? All of the leaves went from the backyard to the curb and the city picked them up the next morning.

A proper back Harness that evenly distributes the weight across both shoulders is needed especially when you have a long drag as this will mess your lower back, you can see this in action on the video as the successful hunter is favoring his left shoulder, Its not the weight but how its distributed evenly, I drag out and often drag up hill 40-60 deer a year so consistency without injury is key

Thanks for bringing this up. The idea for The A.N.T. is to prevent rope burn, rolling ankles, and back pain from being hunched over. As soon as we can, we’ll gather feedback from chiropractors and verify that The A.N.T. is a safer solution than just manhandling a 200 lb buck!

@@theanttool just adding a harness will really help the product in my humble opinion, good luck

Try dragging through the brush and over big down trees I’d be more impressed than dragging it on a smooth trail. Thanks

Challenge accepted! Keep an eye out for an update where we'll try this with a real deer!
