I test drive a friends 1000cc. It was my first time ever riding a bike, and it was the scariest thing ever. You really have to pay attention to what you’re doing because there’s so much power with such little effort.
@wrathfulsee3102

While many people may say it’s a terrible idea to start on a 1000cc, it also teaches you to stay attentive of everything you’re doing and everything around you. While starting on a 1k can cause you to develop bad riding habits, starting on a smaller bike can also develop bad attention habits and cause you to get too comfortable on the road. Still not an amazing argument to start on a 1k but it’s not technically impossible

Facts my guy im hopefully gonna get my first bike soon too and where i live there are 1000cc bikes cheaper than 400s and 600s and ive got my eye on a 1986 honda cbr 750r 1000cc cbr swap at the moment for a steal of a deal it sounds amazing and i honestly cant wait to get my hands on it. One thing ive known for years and that i will be implementing on this bike is respect the bike and go the speed limit, where i live there are tons of massive potholes so ill either be going speed limit or slower depending on where the potholes are. I lost a friend 2 years ago in a motorcycle accident he was going mad fast and lost control of the bike and ended up hitting a giant pine tree so speed can get one killed so even if i get this cbr1000 swapped 750r ill be respectful towards it. Stay safe g and enjoy that beautiful work of art you have there💪

I think the same thing applies to cars. If you have a 2000 Chevy Cavalier and drive like an absolute idiot, you’re going to crash. If you learn to drive on a Ferrari 458 and are very gentle with the throttle and careful, you’ll be perfectly fine. It’s also important to note all the safety features a high end bike like this has. I started on a Honda XR650L. No abs. No traction control. Super shit handling. Hella torque. To me, that’s more dangerous than a bike like this.

The Motordyne sounds good and it's one that I considered for my Z, a 6MT sport pkg coupe. I went with a Fast Intentions TDX x-pipe 2.5" dual exhaust with a Stillen Gen 3 long tube CAI and an EcuTec dyno tune at Specialty Z in LA. We got 321 peak rwhp at 7200 rpm with a uniform 15% increase in torque across the whole rev range. Half of the gains were from the hardware, with an equal amount from the tuner, Seb, optimizing the A/F ratio and timing maps across the whole rev range. We did go a little conservative on the tune, so as to have a safety cushion in case if I get something like a tank of bad gas. The exhaust sounds really good and is similar to yours, although perhaps a little less loud with no rasp or pops. When I accelerate or downshift I just get a deep meaty low-pitched moan that sounds good to me. The rear bumper you have looks really good.

How's the car feel? Any guess as to your 60-130 or quarter mile? I have a stock pristine 09 Sport + Touring AT and would love to do exhuast + intake + tune like you did. How much would you say the cost was total?
@videomaniac108
@videomaniac108 Жыл бұрын
@@Unxpekted I love the sound and look, with the big polished exhaust tips and the carbon fiber mufflers. Performance wise, it's a significant improvement in torque. It feels stronger at all rpms. The cost was not cheap, about the low $3k range, but it was worth it to me. I've lost a little gas mileage, since the engine was running so lean before. The exhaust is still running very clean, with no soot buildup on the insides of the tips.
@Unxpekted

@@videomaniac108 amazing and 3k for just the tune right? If you paid 3k for exhuast, intake, tune, I'm going to that shop haha. Let's get a vid of some pulls!
@videomaniac108
@videomaniac108 Жыл бұрын
@@Unxpekted The tune was about $1k, 8ncluding the optional Ecutek OBD port engine monitoring and managing software for my Android phone. The $3k was the total bill, including all labor. It has transformed an already excellent driver's car into an even better one. I just installed Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2(240) tires to replace the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires that were on before. The improvement in handling and steering precision is noticeably better.

@@videomaniac108 nice have the pilot on mine, weather in DC is bipolar so need em. My car is getting professionally detailed as we speak and rims re finished. I got quoted 16k to build the at trans and supercharge to 600hp. That’s a lot of money, might just be happy with your type of daily but still fun to drive build.
