Look the truth was we got overlooked. That's all. Which was fine by us. Sure we get left out of the pop culture conversation even though we literally were the MTV generation. But fine. We laid low, happy to be left alone. But then the Boomers and Millennials got sick and tired of sniping at each other and looked around for some fresh meat. That was us - minding our own business as usual. And I mean it's not like we care what anyone else thinks of us. Why? Because we were the original "get out of my face/don't bother me kid" latchkey generation. Nobody blew smoke up our asses telling us how precious we were. They made sure we knew we were lucky to be fed and allowed to live indoors. YEAH. So...don't scratch the surface of that trauma. We took the brunt of all the bullshit the Boomers were shoveling without anyone to sympathize with us or give a crap. So PLEASE don't think we're gonna give a crap now. Just back away slowly and leave us to our feral existence...(8^D)

Long-winded. Autism trait...some are long winded verbally, some are long winded in their writings. If there are typos, I apologize. Blame it on the touch pad of the smartphone. I do. I actually grew up in a strict household. Spare the child and spoil the rod. I was the type of kid that tested my parents patience and limits. They tried other forms of punishment, but spanking did the job. Never pulled the same stunt twice. And for the record, I have never held it against my parents nor do I or my younger sisters consider it abuse. Make the mistake of swearing or talking back to your parents? Guess what you get for dinner? That's right, a bar of soap. And if you refused, there was the switch. Luckily I only had to eat two bars of soap. To this day I can still taste it. I did get one time when I was allowed to swear with no reprecussions and that was when I fell in a gasoline fire (I was 15). 3rd degree burns on both legs.....treatment was hell. 32 years since that happened and I still get night terrors from that time. I grew up in the boonies. Had a few Asians and their descendants, part Indians, but no one that was black. First black fam moved in in my senior year of 95-96. Only ones that had a problem with it were parents. None of us gave it a second thought. It's like we were all taught - we're all the same under the skin. Shame our parents couldn't live up to what they taught. Small towns had their own issues. If you didn't fit the norms of society you were ostracized and treated like crap. I fit into that category. Back then no one was being diagnosed with autism. Instead you got it with anti-social, depressed, and overly sensitive. Good way to permanently mark a kid. I grew up without friends. In truth, first friend came along when I was 19. He'll always be my best friend and blood brother. If I wasn't working the farm as a kid I was traversing other properties, the valley, the woods. Learned how to butcher and slaughter at 6...and that came in handy when school would let out for the summer. School let out and I'd disappear for the summer. I'd return 2 weeks before school started up again. Guess you could say that was My summer camp, lol. Eventually I couldn't bring myself to do butchery any more. I like animals too much (and no, definitely not vegetarian). So I'd plant potatoes, carrots, celery, and garlic in certain spots and they'd be my go to for food if necessary. Gotta use the brain afterall. :) I'm a recluse these days. Been a recluse the last 25 years. Live on the family property in my own lil place in the woods. I pay rent, I get my peace. If society can't accept me, to hell with em all. Basically my way of living nowadays. One of my favorite things to do comes around when kids (25 and younger) drive onto the road late at night and blares their music. I get my shotgun and in the tree line, about 20 feet from em I fire off my gun in the night sky...and they drive like a bat out of hell! It's frickin hilarious. They never show up on my road again too. All round win for me. I work the farm, raise my animals, and barter with my neighbors. Birds that have a leg band will become dinner, in one way or another. Amish neighbors pick em up and I get a share of the meat. Also allow em to hunt on the property. Especially after releasing quail and pheasants for a few years. And I allow em to take fruit from the orchards..in return I get a good amount of meat for my freezers for the winter. Pork, beef, venison, and ground lamb. I don't mess with the bees. Me and bees don't mix, lol. Must be my scent or something cuz I get stung a lot each year and not just from honey bees. Chiggers don't bother me though. Never bitten from one and I walk outside barefoot and in long grasses a lot... go fig. Sunscreen? Why bother? I get dark. As grampa put it it's my Cherokee blood in me. I get really dark really quick. Never been sunburned..well, until the fire anyway. I don't wear shorts for that reason. Lovely life lessons, oi. Warned ya I was long-winded. Once a thought enters I'm zoned out till I'm done.

So the dream: Don't go back to a previous love they are being deceptive. The 2nd part a friend will come offer you something you will desire or need assistance with. Use your discernment all gifts aren't gifts. ❤

we’ll look now, y’all are starting a war with gen z on TikTok lol. The new generations aren’t soft, the majority is just not neglected and abused by their parents lol. Lack of trauma isn’t a bad thing 😂 y’all also say u don’t care then u judge every other person instead of actually minding ur business. and no hate to the normal people from gen x, y’all cool but c’mon now

It was better time. Gen X had the best music from rock, to rap, and we ALL got along, hung out, partied together. It was about the music, the good times, and being with eachother ! I wish I could live '76-'89 On repeat !
