Try car-part.com, make sure it has the dash in-between car and part. It's a website that links every salvage yard together. Then, type in what you want, sort my distance away from your zip code, and go get one. Most all of them come with 30 to 90 day warranty

Having had Busas (three) since 2002, Sidestand is hopeless - yes on all models - why? crazy - needs modifying - Insurance - yes, crazy, but the power of the thing scares any insurer - Governer - why would you want to go more than 300klm ph - Tyres - yes - never got more than 3,000 klm out of any rear - Assist options - tech - yes the Gen 1s and 2s are scary without assists but, hey, I am old school and didn't mind having to check myself regularly rather than have the bike do it - now I'm old the Gen 3 assists do help ha ha - wheelies - impossible not to but there is so much weight on the front it isn't hard to control like other sport bikes - Reputation and style - yes, everyone knows it - great social magnet but also completely bullet proof - never had a mechanical problem at all - totally reliable and predictable - Price - cheap as, I can't believe how cheap they have always been, even the Gen 3 is reasonable - Acceleration - insane - I have never had a bigger thrill - Danger to your licence - absolutely - nuts because it looks hot? - however, it is maybe an odd thing but I quite happily and mentally comfortably punted along at times at the speed limit, watching other bikes blitz me trying to get me to race - you know, and they know, they have no chance - so the choice is yours - you don't have to race to still command respect - oh, and keep your licence. I never got booked once on my busa - but broke the limit everytime I went out - maybe just lucky. It's a lucky bike.

I have a 1985 Monte Carlo SC that just started smoking yesterday. The smoke is white but not thick, and goes away completely after the car has been running for a few minutes. Coolant level hasn’t gone down and oil level hasn’t gone up. It’s been 85-90f the last few days so it’s not condensation. I did just put fresh gas in it, the last time it got new gas was 3 years ago. Any ideas on what it could be?

It has to be a higher end one. Not all have obd2 scanners can do relearn

@@juniorgonzalez6399 My outlook is, If I'm just doing a relearn, I'm not charging a customer. At the same time, I do not charge to diagnose an issue either. But most shops out there will charge an hour of labor at "their" hourly rate. Even though this take less than 5 minutes to do it.

That booster and bracket is $100 on eBay the only part that d and c adds is the angled plate which ain’t needed Becuase you can drill the bracket directly to the firewall and use washers to angle it up. Save yourself $350.

Doing this is usually only completed when you have replaced a ac compressor, line, Condenser, etc and need to get all the air out of the system before r134A or 1234rf refill

All right so I have a 99 model gen 1 unrestricted ECU with the 220 mph speedometer I own the bike outright my insurance for the whole year with tax $147.00 I've owned three super sport bikes before this one and only have ever gotten one ticket which I wasn't even trying to race I have not gotten pulled over on my busa yet and have put on 8000 miles I have some bells and whistles on mine mostly for looks the exhaust however I upgraded to a yoshimura full exhaust with twin R- 77 carbon fiber slip ons (baffles removed)

It was the master fuse. It's a 125A master fuse from the battery to the fuse panel. If it blows, nothing works.

We did, it ended up taking three different covers before we got one that didn't leak.

Awesome video, but man do I wish I never bought a Nissan. 2013 Maxima, transmission was replaced 20k miles ago. Seems like its failed! It starts to not want to go up in rpms when it gets hot after 20 minutes of driving. Got the stepper motor code and pressure control solenoid stuck. I put a whole new valve body in. Still works fine for about 20 minutes but RPMS start to lag when giving it gas and will shudder when guving it gas from stop. Cant drive far. Also a metal scraping noise when driving. No codes anymore though. If you have any idea what it could be, I sincerely appreciate any input. I just dont get why it works when cold but not after it gets hot.

So, Nissans are plagued with a CVT transmission. These were pretty bad when they first came out and have not gotten much better over the years. Basically, the belt that goes up and down the cones stretche when it warms up. But when it's cold, they shrink back down. That's why it works when it's cold, but slips when it warms up. Only real option is tranny replacement. We deal this same issue all the time here and have to give the owners the bad news. Most of my clients prefer to sell the car cause the cost of replacement is pretty high and it will go out again in a short matter of time. Hope this helps. Cheers

@BentOaksGarage thank you for that. The chain can't be replaced? Think I see them on ebay if it's the circular ones. Also, would really appreciate your input on this. Someone else just told me the following: it is the transmission flow control valve that needs to be replace. What happens is the flow control valve inside the transmission oil pump gets worn out and doesn't let oil flow causing it to heat up and start to make our sensors act up like p1778 and p0746. I just finished installing back the transmission and so far so good it's been 2 days 150 miles and running like a champ. FYI the valve kit was just 49.99 on ebay. Do you think thats likely? There's a video on it I tried to link to but it wouldn't post that shows that fix. Same codes that I had, p1778 and p0746. Really appreciate your input. Thanks.

Best thing about the big dogs, iron horse etc , were the drive trains. You can find some older ones thatve been flooded or ignored and get the motors pretty cheep. A rebuild and cam for usage and those motors make smooth power, from FXR to baggers. The early ones, 107s were some of the smoothest and no electronics.

Having the same problem now with my Chrysler 2005 3.5 the serpentine belt keeps slipping off the tensioner and bouncing off the harmonic balancer. Put a whole new tensioner, was fine and now it’s back to moving and bouncing off the balancer again causing the belt to slip off. Went through 2 belts already, can send you a video just looking for another opinion.

Paid $400 for mine , took a 350 engine and 350 Turbo trans out of my 78 Silverado , traded for new headers , motor mounts $30 , Tach $40 , New Universal joints $50 , 1998 S-10 Still have a few things to buy but nothing expensive , I won't even have a grand in everything

I'm trying to swap out my radiator, 79 J10, but how do you remove the trans cooling lines at the bottom of the radiator? Mine just wanna twist up and the side of the hoses towards the tranny seem to be press fit. That side does have a hex fitting but I'm afraid to mess up the lines.
