Local bus route. Catch it from shops in netherfield
@SorryImSam24 күн бұрын
I've always appreciated seeing someone passionate about something and I think that translates into fun content. Buses aren't a thing I've looked into but I know Nottingham so it was fascinating to see Nottingham from a different angle aswell as see inside, around and hear all about the bus. I never knew buses had become so high tec! I genuinely enjoyed watching this video, it's definitely something I'll check out more of! Great work

The Trent bus was the 79A and 73. The Lincolnshire was the 33c.
@goldsburypeter116Ай бұрын
I used to live in Radcliffe and used the Trent bus to travel to school in Nottingham. Before we moved, there was the occasional Lincolnshire bus, coming from Grantham and, after another move, the Skills bus from East Bridgford. I practiced a Japanese martial art and became a professor at Hiroshima University. I retired, but still live here in Hiroshima.

My father used to work for Trent Motor Traction and I once discussed joining NCT as a management trainee. NCT were quite receptive to the idea and I had a long talk at Parliament Street depot.I lived in Radcliffe and was also familiar with Trent, Bartons, Gash, and Lincolnshire Road Car. Instead, I went to Hiroshima, to study for my PhD at University College. However I began my PhD at Harvard and one of my supervisors had been a visiting lecturer at Harvard. I followed him back to London University but studied Japanese martial arts when I was at Sussex U as an undergraduate and later at Harvard and in London. (Eventually, I became a professor at Hiroshima University and a president of the Atomic Bomb Museum.)

@@maltheomsigamer On the NCT website yes but even the spares have been seen on the diesel routes, for example 253 for the 11 was out on the Bridgford Bus 7 on Friday 8th November 2024 because the Bridgford Bus MMC in the form of 308 ended up on the 11 and then another one after that in the form of 307 after a bus swap.

@nottinghamtransportenthusi278410 ай бұрын
I guess that's the case on all of the E400's with NCT for example as some bells come with the buzzer like this one. I guess just the bell on its own when the standard stop button is pressed would be nice! Lucky the bio-gas Scanias with NCT for example have the nice bell chimes with no buzzer when you press the standard stop button!
@nininini591010 ай бұрын
@@nottinghamtransportenthusi2784 I was referring to the bell chimes themselves. On the 4 that I mentioned, particularly 620, I find the bell chime has such a horrible metallic sound that sounds like 2 pans being hit together, which is just annoying

Of one of the duo of Kinchbus's newest acquisitions in terms of bus type, the other being 107. Both were displaced from Trent Barton's Mickleover due to that route requiring two less buses. These can be found anywhere with Kinch now but they do often tend to work on the Skylink Derby and Leicester when required as they act as a supplement to their fleet in case one or more of their buses is/are unavailable.

My father used to work for Trent, before it became Trent Barton. He stopped working there when Trent closed the outstation at Bingham. My paternal grandmother used to live in Melton Mowbray and I have fond memories of ancient Barton buses struggling up Broughton Hill, on their way to Melton (route 2). I came to live here in 1980, as a professor at Hiroshima University. I taught language and philosophy. Before Japan, my universities were Sussex, Harvard, and University College London. Japan has very good bus and train networks. I live in Japan (Hiroshima) because I have practiced the Japanese martial art of aikido for many years.

Have you paid attention to how on some E400s, the indicator (the bell) has changed to two pans getting smashed together e.g 620, 636 and i think on 615. I think its horrendous and I will never go on 620 because of that again. Even 627 sounds like it every now and then

Hi, I saw your videos, your video quality is good but not properly SEO. Your SEO score is very poor. That's why your channel is not growing organically. Total 226 subscribers and a Total of 1100+ Uploaded videos of your channel. According to your channel, I noticed that your channel videos are not viewed and subscribed. You need to optimize your channel and do video SEO to reach your target audience. Otherwise, if you upload videos to your channel throughout the year, none of your videos will get Rank . Here are the issues I found: Title, description, video tags, channel tags, and video SEO are not performed on your videos. This is why your KZbin channel is not growing. It is possible that if you fully customize your channel, the video will go Rank. Do you want to talk about it for a while?

When I lived in the UK my father worked for Trent. He stopped when Trent closed the outstation in Bingham (I think it was Bingham). My aunt lived in Melton Mowbray and I have memories of Barton buses (front entrance; Duple bodywork, Leyland PD 1 engines) struggling up Broughton Hill on the way to Melton. I went to the Becket School, well before it became comprehensive. I now live in Hiroshima as a retired university professor. In my time buses to Bingham and Grantham went along Radcliffe road and not along Central Avenue. Trent and Skills shared the route to East Bridgford.
