For anyone wondering: This was at the start of SKYND's role as the supporting act for BABYMETAL during their European tour.
@Crackracket3 күн бұрын
No it wasn't. This was recorded in London at their first ever headline show. They were supposed to have a support act but they never showed up. They had decorated the entire venue with pictures of crime scenes and projections of interviews with serial killers and crime scene footage. When you walked through the door you were welcomed by someone people who handed you a red solo cup of grape flavour-aid. Even the bathrooms had syringes, bloody towels and hand prints everywhere. Was the only fully interactive gig I've ever been to. I wish I'd hung around after the show because they came out into the crowd and took photos with the audience

A childhood friend turned me on to these guys in 2002 or 3. Several years ago he lost the fight for his mental health and took his life. I feel him close when I hear this song. I hope you found the peace and comfort that this world failed to provide. RIP Dave, I miss ya brother.

I was just bored and thought id mess around with some AI text to image generation. I converted the lyrics into prompts to try and visualise the lyrics. I think some of the pictures are kinda cool and I freaking love this song. The trippy video sections were fun to make but took ages

This reminds me of watching that 1970 footage of the original Allman Brothers Band. The camera person doesn’t show the lead guitar fella when it’s most important

The Hunter never gets enough credit. As Mastodon albums go the others get referenced first. Both The Hunter and Crack the Skye are so special.

Even today, I am grateful for music. I'm an old musician with few friends. Life handed me that. I worked hospital nights and wasn't a "doctor". You don't sing much while people are trying to sleep near you. Thanks for the sound. It's pretty.

Troy was not a good singer. Wow, has he gotten really, really good. Here, with Killer Be Killed, anywhere, he has really improved. It's cool to hear as a fan.

he was always a good singer, because he was distinct, memorable, and kicked ass. he's just a more well rounded one now.

RIP to Nick John, the band's manager, who this song is about and album is dedicated to. He worked hard to bring Mastodon to the world, in interviews Mastodon sing his praises. And they also literally sing his praises.

Segue essa ordem: Brann (bateria): "I'm on fire now" Troy (baixo): "Say you'll remember her voice" Brent (guitarra): "And I can't get you over my mind" Depois segue a parte em que o Brann e o Troy cantam juntos (mas imagino que essa não seja complicada de entender): "Loose lips have fallen on deaf ears Loose lips have fallen on blind eyes"
