Danke Carl Orff :)

@orff-schulwerk
@orff-schulwerk Жыл бұрын
Hallo!

I have studied the music and life of Orff intermittently since I by chance heard Carmina Burana as a boy around 1971. It seems to me that his artistic goal was to return to an elemental musical world divested of the Romantic and Classical, reaching back to the early Baroque and even farther, to chant and the magic of the spoken word. In some ways, Carmina Burana, with its lush barbarism, is not typical of his work. Perhaps Il Trionfo di Afrodite best encapsulates the variety of his techniques, with both overwhelming power and, at times, a spare aridity.

Unfortunately I don't have sheet music for this, but the patterns I used are originally taken from the Orff/Keetman version in Orff-Schulwerk - Music for Children Vol. III, published by Schott Music. Please also refer to "Orff--Schulwerk Rediscovered" where you also find a chapter (and this video) how to work with children.

@IndieGo
@IndieGo 3 жыл бұрын
