The imposter syndrome and social anxiety hit home for me. Chris your perspective of "hey if you are showing up and doing the thing and people are listening wheres the imposter in that" really appreciate that POV. Cuz you are right that goes straight into self worth and whether i feel what i am offering is worth it. If i felt it was worth it- i wouldnt care what people thought if it. 🩵

I live a homesteading life with my husband and kids. To some its unconventional which has caused major issues with in laws. I won't have my happiness destroyed by someone who chooses money over family. I love you guys and you two are so inspiring 🖤

Growing up around alcoholics made me never want to drink. At 23 I still only drink once a year. I never really understood the desire to be belligerent, but I think it’s because I already felt so out of control of my life. I didn’t want to not have control of my body and actions like the people around me. But. When my dad found out I smoked the greens he made me sit and roll him an oz worth of j’s to attempt to deter me. It didn’t work. He’s disabled and needed his j rolled for him anyways. Not a learning lesson lol

I don't think the question of her residency/citizenship status is irrelevant cause she may have been cohersed into this relationship as a way to stay in the US... Just a thought though.

Women, or shall I say partners/spouses, or Wives? are expendable folks, but your morals and virtues and integrity and self respect are not.

The Big mistake he made in this movie, was apparently taking her back at the end, after she had been defiled by another male and doing business with a scum bag in a suit and tie. He should have kept the money for himself, and then told him you can keep the harlot. She could have just bought herself a Vibrator or Dildo, but then she needed the money I guess, so she thought? Typical female.

Sometimes, I do think that people truly just do hate their person, but sometimes it’s more that they hate themselves and their situation leading them to misplace blame. That mindset can often times lead to not sitting boundaries, not speaking up for their needs and being too lazy or stuck in a victim mindset to change their situation and create new habits, that will lead to the life that they actually want. The same environment that wasn’t meeting your needs can foster the life that does if you believe that you have control and influence over your life instead of believing that life just happens to you. Life is tough and so are you and your partner trust in each other’s resiliency and be honest it’s the only way to truly fight each other‘s battles together. (Of course this is does not pertain to abusive situations)

My fiancé grew up in the hood, like LA deep deep hood, he has a keen sense for danger and I’m what someone would call an airhead so I immediately understood if he says get in the car and let’s go or we need to get out of here now, zero questions from me I’m just listening because he doesn’t do that at all unless he spots something wrong.

I 1000% agree with in-home boundaries with guests. But I can’t help but feel like having so many non-negotiables would create more stress and tension in my home. But if I’m inviting people over who think touching my thermostat or rummaging through my things is okay, I need to reevaluate that relationship and their future invitations.

Lot of cultures consider guests to be on top of the priority list. Good hosts and stuff. I personally cannot imagine having such attachment to a specific seat to feel like anyone sitting in it is disrespectful to me 😂 But probably men think differently and if my hubby wanted to have a specific seat we can reserve it for him :)

Women are the creators, men provide the supplies, the women take those supplies and turn them into something useful. The definition of provider has been narrowed down to bringing home money. I understand that men peovide other things not just money. Women and mothers have had their value lowered throyghout the years, and it needs to be said, that woman are rhe creators to the mans provisions. With out his provisions, she has nithing to create, and with out her creatavity his provisions have little usefulness.

my partner and I only get to see each other for one day a week, less than 24 hours awake. I make it a point to always wear something he likes or do myself up a bit even tho ive had a tough week because i enjoy his gaze. His gaze is one of the things that recharge me for our next week. and even when i dont do myself up and wear sweatpants and a hoodie, without fail i will get "youre pretty" or hot or any other small compliment. it goes both ways to make sure each person is feeling seen so that they are excited for that intimacy.

The email surprised me as well when the woman's concern about her person going into a first responder position was in regard to the possibility of infidelity instead of the possibility of him putting his life and or health/well-being on the line. Red 🚩🤔

We're the same way now with holidays. When we were younger and didn't have traditions with our own children, we were happy to travel around to see family for Christmas. Now with our own household traditions, our own children, and the very fact that holiday travel (for us) is more stressful than enjoyable, we now stay home, and anyone that tried to make us feel guilty about that gets the same explanation 💯
