Have you made any diagram and layout of your farm which shows how the tanks are placed, how the tanks are connected with pipes, what is pipe configuration (sizes), how the pipes connected with your RAS water treatment tanks? Secondly, have you made any feasibility costing report to show your overall fixed (capital) and regular (operational) costing?

No diagrams/layout, it’s all in the mind. As far as the thing for capital, it honestly depends on the person on how he/she is willing to spend, operational costs yes, they are fixed.

Try to keep the drains not too deep, so that the fault can be figured out with ease, it’s the only manual way for the same. Don’t worry will be posting regularly to share my knowledge with our LG Aqua family.

if u r spending much money in building RAS, why not invest in water heating system, u can easily take culture in winter, and sell in good margin when supply is low, demand is high. Additionally it will help stabilize ur biological filtration.

@@LGAqua09 no rocket science either, all it takes is a water drum, a thermometer, 2 thermostat, 2 immersion heating rod and some plumbing. Its a must have in Aquarium Hobby as it cures many fish diseases. Anyways all the best, looking forward to updates.
