I was there. Took 4th place single speed out of 19 starters. On a Black and Tan Trek 69er SS. Finish time was 6 hrs and 50 minutes. Well behind 1st place. Just was glad I finished without crashing or flatiting or bonking. Was magnificent course!

As a person of color that was born and raised in this land this song always brings tears to my eyes because it's beautiful but at the same time it isn't true but "Nobody living can ever stop me, As I go walking that freedom highway; Nobody living can ever make me turn back...." 🇺🇲

The freedom of a horse on the beach. No sun block..no bags or chairs and not care how cold the water is. In my mind. I am a horse on the beach today!!

How to add egg shells to your mixture. Smack the egg against the metal bowl and allow to fall in and contaminate your batter. Man oh man! Always crack your eggs on a flat surface or bring two eggs together and crack by smacking gently against one another.

Nice vid. A few of us just visited OBX a few weeks ago and were very blessed to see the wild horses north of Corolla on the beech called "4-Wheel Drive Beech". Yes, you need a four wheel drive vehicle to drive on the beach for about 8 miles or so; a permit is not required. We stopped and watched a large group of wild horses on the dunes about 150 feet from the waters edge. Beautiful moment; praise God!
They are probably struggling rn because of Florence

Do they eat seaweed off the beach?
@eleanorrigby9243 жыл бұрын
There is a preservation team that goes out to feed them. Not sure what they ate before that was setup because they have been there I know since the 1800's.

Black stallion!!!!! That’s why they stay in separate lil herds.....stallions always stay in the back while mares lead their lil herd!! Just like with us humans........the men protect and breed but the women makes all the choices when and where we go lol

It's actually against the law to feed them and to be closer than 50 feet from them. Food other than what they normally eat in the wild is dangerous. They are wild animals and it would be dangerous. Just keep your distance and enjoy.
