I am a VA lister from the Philippines, and my US client used this software for her reselling business. It was so good and very friendly app. Highly recommended. :)))) I have experienced using ListPerfectly and OneShop (as a former marketplace assistant of OneShop) I can tell that Vendoo has more features than the others. <3 Of course, it's not 100% accurate all the time but it's been helping me as a VA.

You guys love quoting the Christmas movies- I love it! I personally think we are going to get less sales because of the fees. I’m definitely less likely to buy on platforms that are adding fees. I personally would rather be charged more as a seller fee than pass it onto the buyers if they are trying to make more money.
@gaylebartlett4631Ай бұрын
I have only had 1 sale on Poshmark since the change... I actually had 2, but one cancelled after she saw the fees she would have to pay... it was on the higher priced item (and oversized item)... BOOO... at least ebay seems to be picking up. I really think it is crazy to charge the buyer a fee to purchase and item. My Mercari which was pretty good has all but died off.

I like the new fee structure but I'm worried buyers won't. No point making a little more on your sales if there's going to be less of them. I hope it doesn't drive buyers away.
@ediesthriftique4163Ай бұрын
I know the "Interwebs" have a lot of negative talk about the new Poshmark fees. But, for me , my sales have been a bit better than usual so far. And I've made a little bit more on most of them. I say this, because on 2 of them the fees wound up being almost a dollar more than before. All in all, I can't complain. I'm a part time seller. I do on average 25 - 40 sales a month. I'm grateful for every sale!!! With that in mind, I'm grateful for your videos. I've learned so much. I watch you while I'm listing several times a week. Thank you.

Wonder what is the Item Price Break even point ( where old fees equal new fees)? $10? Maybe time to bundle lower priced inventory!

Great question JB! I'll ask AI 😂
@MB-km5hhАй бұрын
@FoxJo The only item I’ve sold since the change was $10 and I made $7.96. Of course Poshmark made more than in the past because of the fees they charged the buyer.

My sale day cost of good is $7... I'm heading off today where the store is 50% off... with an average COG of $9 - 30 per piece... their "designer" rack is priced $15 - $50 (you know Chicos and J McLaughlin and Vineyard Vines) Somehow they get more from their designer items than I do on eBay LOL.

Damn, I'm in NJ... I've found that if I just stay with the company... I have JCP&L, and not shop around, it's much less expensive. Not sure about Texas. My electric was $88 and gas was $18... Have a 4 bedroom and 2 bath house. I also have LOTS of large trees. The AC rarely goes on, I keep windows open and ceiling fans in all rooms. It's VERY humid here...hope you figure it out...

I love Vendoo and have been using it for over 3 years. I've been hearing other resellers rave about the AI express lister on a different program, I'm hoping Vendoo has something similar in the works. Any insight or secret info about this?

I am by far no expert...I do agree with checking on some insulation. May be pricey to get it fixed (or enough to get by), but in the long run it might be worth it. I also wouldn't turn them all the way off, unless you are on vacay for days. Because once you turn them back on, it takes more energy for them to get back to an adequate temp. You could bump them up a little when you are not in there etc. And your inventory is pretty much clothes, so unlike breakables, you can go at a higher temp on the down time

Please check your ductwork in the attic. You may have a leak or leaks and are actually cooling the attic. Is solar a possibility? Also, how old is our A/C? If it is over 15 /20 years old, it is probably way less efficient than a new model.
@MB-km5hhАй бұрын
That’s crazy. I have heard that happening if your electric company changes suppliers. I would turn off your mini units until you absolutely need them. You could work with your company to do a monthly plan so it makes your payments similar each month (so you end up paying a little less during the high usage months but a little more in the lower usage months).
@gaylebartlett4631Ай бұрын
I got a $900 electric bill last month and am waiting for my next. It's up $400 from the prior year. I think its wind power. It's expensive... Texas has wind power.
@gaylebartlett4631Ай бұрын
and please wind power fans...don't come at me, this is the ONLY difference between last year and this year...our electric company added wind power to the source
@michd5507Ай бұрын
Another reason not to be a fan of wind power... They're trying that crap in NJ. I love nuclear... Have a plant near me ... They are going to revamp it, hopefully soon.

I would die if I got that bill! I'm in S. FL. We have the A/c on 24/7/365. We keep it at 75-77 during the day and 71-72 for sleeping. We have a pool that we run a pool pump around 6-8 hours a day. Four adults here showering with hot water and our laundry. We also have many cats and have cat laundry, beds, towels, etc. Dishwasher is run every day. We have backyard lighting that stays on until dawn, same as front porch lights. Also have a fan going 24/7 on the back patio. My daughter and I work from home on computers. 3000 sq ft two story home on one unit and a window unit in the garage that I turn on when I'm steaming/photographing/shipping. Bill runs about $400 in summer, $300 in winter. WTH kind of bill is that in TX??? 😲😲😲 Does your power company have an analytics page that can help? We have that here. Hope you can lower that bill soon. 🤞🤞

Dehumidifier can lower your bill. BY just getting the moisture out makes it cooler.

We have Central air in our home, mini split on our detached garage and a portable AC in a attached garage converted to TV room and we don't spend over $300. Maybe you need to check your insulation in your inventory room. Just saying... Thanks for the awesome videos guys!
