Just did this hike while we were in Ireland week before last. Devil's Ladder is a bear :) Hey, what is the background music?

Great trial , unfortunately 2 weeks ago we had to stop at the devils ladder base due to the unexpected heavy wind , my boys were disappointed yet we had a great day and memories, will plan again for next summer , greeting from Dubai , thank u for the amazing video

What a pity, you could have ascended through zig zag route though.

I'm eating Irish potato chips at 8,000 ft. at my house in Colorado, watching a video about climbing Ireland's highest mountain.

These mountains were nunataks - their tops stuck through the ice in the last ice age which explains their rocky appearance. Very tricky and very spectacular.

how long does it take to climb (on average) ?.. I saw no rope work in the video so can it be climbed unaided ?

Beautiful! I am thinking of doing this hike alone in the next couple of months (coming down from Belfast). Any recommendation for B&Bs nearby?

Yes, it's a GoPro attached to the person as they hike and scramble, with plenty of ice and snow they were more concerned with not slipping than keeping the camera steady !

I've done it great day out. Starts at heavenly gates. To the right of Collin's gully. Its fine without a rope for experienced scramblers. Note, the word experienced. Well done.
