Saw a lot of bands live during this era, they were simply one of the best live bands ever. The quality of rock music packed into a 14 year span from 81-95 will never be matched again IMO!

Shocked not one is a Viv Campbell solo. I feel since he has been in the band he has the best solos. Slang - Deliver Me, Euphoria - Paper Sun, X - Scar. His solo on Wings of an Angle from the Def Leppard album is insane and really dont know how you can pick the Animal solo over that one. His solo on Unbreakable from Halos is his best so far in the band.

This tour for anyone that saw it was special. For starter they weren't headlining and they played this full album largely like you see it and just as flawless for the most part. I'm not even sure who the main act was today, it was either Metallica or Def Leppard and wasn't that they were bad this was just something else in term of execution.

Geoff Tate stands out as one of metal's top frontmen! His voice is simply stunning, and he brings unmatched energy to the stage. And let’s not forget the band-they’re an incredible group of serious musicians! 🎤🤘

People just didn't get this band unless they were writing commercial music i.e. Jet City Woman or sappy ballads i.e Silent Lucidity, both great songs in their own right . Me? I go back to The Warning at 13 years old.
If this band nosnot stir you and wake you.ck, your pulse 💗.

The Warning, Rage of Order, Operation Mindcrime and Empire were ahead of time in those years... The guys of this lineup were the PROGRESSIVE METAL GODS...

I wish the original lineup could put aside all the issues and put reunion tour together. They'd sell out arenas with this album. I'd be there for sure.

Back when BANDS not only wrote, arranged and performed their own songs/music, but they wrote albums that were full productions. ROCK-N-ROLL SYMPHONIES. Notice Jeff never needed auto-tune on his live voice and still doesn't in 2024.

The best band to ever walk the earth queensryche. Jeff tate didn't want to be lead singer because he didn't think he had it but after he tried he successfully brought queensryche to life and still to this day they are my favorite band and I still jam them on my pandora radio.

One of the most recognizable drum tracks. You play that drum fill around any metalhead and they're going to know what you are playing and more than likely know that it was a man by the name of Scott Rockenfield. Always having a love for the drums, when I got to see them and Suicidal Tendencies at the New Orleans UNO lakefront arena, I was paying attention to Scott most of the concert. I always watch the drummers the most especially if it's a drummer I love and can't particularly get the whole song nailed because of a few parts that I don't know what they're doing and being able to see them doing it helps you learn how to play it correctly. He is truly a very underrated drummer. And you can't get much more rock than Rockenfeild. Thanks for the tunes. It was sad to see this band become in the years to come. And I got to say Scott is more of a man than I am, because years later when Geoff Tate was passing in front of him on stage and spitting on him, I would have come across that drum set in a half a second. Maybe we would have made amends but he would have never done that shit to me ever again

I used to watch this and listen to the cassettes all the time! So iconic. Had the VHS and then got the DVD. Simple one of the best metal albums of all time. These guys - this lineup = the best!! See them plenty of times in concert - every show was amazing. One of my favorite bands for sure. Classic and underrated. Met the guys a few years before they broke up the original band. Nice guys. Really treated their fans well. ❤

They were epic. At a time when metal bands were pretty much typical, in walked Queensryche and woke up a whole generation to political corruption and the need for a revolution. And here we are... 30 years later.

I remember getting this the day it came out. Popped it in my cassette player and started driving home. After the first chorus of “Revolution Calling” I had to pull over because I just couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I completed the rest of the album then drove home completely gobsmacked by what I had just listened to. I was kind of in a daze. Operation: Mindcrime is simply one of the best musical offerings ever recorded.
