Thanks! We do our best to be gentle and release them after, this one we actually happened to save from drowning, these zebra tails tend to be very fast usually

I am not familiar with false lady bugs but from what I looked up I believe these are lady bugs because they didn't smell and they didn't bite and I don't see the M mark they say helps distinguish the two but it does sound like with the other comment of them invading their home that those are probably the false lady bugs

Yes we teach these things to all our kids about how to properly handle different critters. He''s pretty good at both of these things he's held more dangerous bugs than this one as well that have worse bites or stings. He's learned how to handle a variety of bugs and other little critters with safety and care. 😊

They look a lot like leopard geckos but much smaller and banded instead! Really fun to come across!

Most definitely! Don't try this with just any javalina this one happen to be young and curious and approachable and most likely had been fed before by a human but others in its group were not this friendly although most just kept their distance
