Hello. In the limit of up to 17J. Is a short barrel in Katran C 4.5mm accurate at 50m.? I have Reximex Throne Gen2 5.5mm at 50m, the right pellet and a focus of up to 10mm. But focus is not everything... I know, I can always choose Katran with a 400mm barrel. But I like Katran C better.

Those rabbits are great eating. It seems like having the tactical stock makes you need a higher mount for the scope. I may get one for my S500 XS as i want a bipod and sling but dont want to mess up my beautiful walnut stock.
@kevsmu
@kevsmu 2 ай бұрын
Sure are ! Always nice on the bbq I’ve found. So the main reason them mounts are high is the C50 lens objective is quite big with the focus ring sticking out slightly so always have to raise it up that little bit. That rifle is gone now and have something different. Ah I see always gray to have a sling though and only a couple of studs so not to bad. Thanks for the watch much appreciated

The PIP can be turned off or on. When on its standard PIP. When off its not fully off, it hangs around for 10+ seconds before it returns to a full screen. I personaly think PIP is a gimmick and is something else to do. I get the PIP pops up during ranging but when off it should do just that - go off.. Yes you can turn it off with a double tap but again more button pressing. I had to tell pulsar how to do that. In general the scope operation is clunky and the claims of picture quality is laughable. Yes at base mag its spot on after that its all down hill.

Hi mate.. so the rifle went back after I had it for over a year as it was on test. But honestly I had absolutely no issues with it at all ! In my opinion it was lightweight, great to handle, super accurate and functional. Honestly loved it to bits and would recommend to anyone. I do know a guy that has done the same thing to their ultimate sporter by just getting the stock etc which I guess would work the same as effectively the same gun. But yes !! I have a 457 in 22 and a 452 in 177. The 457 really is so slick in the action, you can rack the bolt while the rifle is on safe, safety is in a much better position etc. the 452 shoots amazing though so can’t complain as they’re cheap.

@kevsmu
@kevsmu 8 ай бұрын
Hi.. so yes you are able to zero the scope at your desired distance and then should you wish to alter this to allow for that you would need to go into the zeroing profile and adjust wind and elevation and re save that to give point of impact. Its not like a traditional turret where you can just quickly dial in for your adjustments. Hope this helps mate

If you look at the grass blowing in the wind ,it suggests the wind is going towards them ,they can most probably hear you and smell you ,if you're waring any sort of aftershave or deodorants, even the smell of washing powder and softeners will travel, if you can you will be better off getting into a position where the wind is in your face or at least coming towards you ,you will be surprised how much closer you will get to them ,a mate of mine was a deer stalker and took him with me shooting wabits ,he stopped me after a hour and sat me down ,and said have a cigarette now and leave the rest in your car until you get back ,boy what a difference, but by the time i got back i was gagging for a smoke😅 but we had a bag or wabbits lol

I wrote an email to Aselkon pointing out 15 issues I noticed very quickly regarding the LS1 model, have had no reply. Since then I took it apart trying to fix some of them only to find out more issues. Here's a list of the most annoying ones: 1) hardly any suppressors will fit this gun because the pressure tank gets in the way 2) the check valve that should allow you to fill separately the pressure tube (not attached to the gun) does not seal properly below 75 bar and leaks faster than even a compressor can push air (you will need a scuba tank to get it to seal when starting from 0) 3) the main valve does not seal properly below 75 bar also leaking faster that a compressor can push air ... again requiring a scuba tank to pressurize the system when starting from 0 4) the trigger can easily rub against the trigger guard assembly because of the way it is bolted on the breech block (this caused my unit not to cock properly because the trigger would not reset) 5) the trigger over travel stop is not working properly 6) the instructions that came in my LS1 box are for MX series and don't match in many of the important details 7) the single shot tray hole is too tight 8) you can't fit the rifle in the case with a normal 40mm optics scope mounted 9) the lower picatinny rail is way too far back to be of any real use for most gun accessories (bi-pods, lights, laser pointers ... etc will be sitting behind the natural position of your support hand) 10) the side lever action is very gritty and required polishing the bolt 11) the hammer requires polishing since it does not hit the valve stem in line with the center of its mass (which is a bad idea in any case) Regarding this later point I assume the off center striking is to try and achieve some debounce ... but at the same time introducing as much inconsistency in strike energy as debounce capability. This is why I put a mirror finish on the hammer, sacrificing most debounce capabilities but also minimizing striking inconsistencies. I also put a nice finish on the end of the hammer spring windings. Mustafa can claim that the Emperador series are super high quality, but that's just a false claim: if you own one you will know what I'm talking about.

@@kevsmu I don't live in UK ... but maybe they are willing to help. I'm not Czech but I live here in CZ (let me know the UK distributor and I'll drop them an email). I contacted Aselkon directly hoping that they would give some support on what their sails manager boasts as supreme quality PCP rifle: still no reply as of now. In the meantime I hit another issue: I tried to tune down the power so that on one of the intermediate levels it would be HFT compliant. Unfortunately untouched the first notch is about 8J, second notch is about 18 ... so I hoped I could tune down the reg to hit less that 16.3J on the second notch. The only adjustment possible on this regulator is to play with the spring washers. But low and behold I also found one good thing: even if choke is quite pronounced it seems to shoot JSB Knock Out MKII decently ... more testing is required because when I found this out I was running low on air ... but I saw a gimps of good potential. However overall I'm sill fairly disappointed after the sales hype that it was supposed to be supreme quality ... even if I got it at launch price (around 400 euro) considering the troubles I had with it I would put it in the low end of budget quality rifles.

I want to add a couple of other good things about this gun: 1) the regulator piston has a handy M4 threaded hole to help extraction and pressing back in against the spring washers. 2) the barrel is nice and sturdy ... it will take the beating of shooting slugs at 275m/s

@@kevsmu BTW: which manual did you get with the LS2 you reviewed ? I wrote to raytrade but no answer from them either... did not ask for anything complicated, just if they happen to have the correct manual for the Emperador series, if that know of any solution for the problems with the valves and if they know of anybody making aftermarket parts for the Emperador.
