How was your holiday? Shame the sea was still too cold 🥶 but Paphos was lovely. Just currently look at flights for Berlin for a quick 2 night getaway. We have a mini cruise in October so will some more vlogs then.

We are only just 200 subs away from monetisation so in Cyprus I might try it with the copyright free music as I’m intrigued by how it all works.

This happened to me 3 weeks ago in Tapas alley 😢

@@debsday5445There is a poor internet recetion in that area which doesnt help.

This is why I only use a revolut card/app on my phone... When I go to a restaurant abroad, I get the bill, see how much it is, transfer slightly more than the bill to my revolut card/app to cover it so it's impossible to be charged a lot more than the bill states!... If I'm going to a few bars for drinks, I'll load up the card in €20 batches or sometimes less or more depending on where we are, what I'm drinking and how many there are in the group... It's slightly more hassle but literally takes about 30 seconds to do and means peace of mind because I never get overcharged massively or scammed... Get yourself a pre-loaded card like revolut or a even spare bank account, although a UK bank account will cost more in charges and exchange rate, so better off with a specialist account like revolut... I have a back-up bank account that's empty that I can use in an emergency too which I can pre-load similarly if needed but as mentioned, a dedicated pre-loaded account is better so that you can transfer your money into Euros to use... A top tip is to load the revolut card with GBP and then transfer to Euros and I think the exchange rate is better during weekdays to transfer to Euros too!
