That’s so helpful, thank you for sharing. Rainy August this yr in Ottawa has made the Liverwort growing between the cobblestone on my patio and over the gravel under my deck, FAR too happy. Nice, easy, affordable and safe fix!

Dearest Peter, I've already partly watched multiple videos (less than 10 but more than 3, your good self being the 5th person I turned to for advice). Seeing your surroundings and the way you effortlessly make it look and sound so simple with your old jumper on, you remind me of the Grandfather I lost around 13yrs ago. And the one thing you have that the other ppl on here do not is a higher age. With age comes knowledge and earned experience. So I will come to your channel for all my gardening queries from now on... Thanks again Peter😊👌👍

Thumbs up. Helpful. Stage 2, I have on one tree. Ah Brown rot it's called. It is very disconcerting. You have to monitor the apples every day, I'm realising! New to apple tress, here in the UK.

Mine has overgrown to six feet high. If I prune it down to three feet, would it kill it?

If you arent getting your gardening advice from elders like this fellow who know what theyre talking about, you're not getting the best advice.

Thankyou sir. Im 25, ive been gardening for a few years, but i always find the elders have the best advice on things. I planted zinnia seedlings, they got eaten, despite dry westher.. Putting legal slug pellets down, hopefully that'll let me grow this beautiful plant.

What a beautiful standard fuchsia Valerie Bradley. I intially thought it was Celia Smedley, which is my favourite fuchsia. They look so similar. Thanks for the video and info.

Question what you mean by "old stems" and "remaining shoots". Are the "old stems" the brown/hard woody stems over 2y old? And are "remaining shoots" the shoots that grew this previous year? Thanks.
