Thanks for your comments, Matt. I just wanted to let you know, that this event, just like the entire lake operations, are not paid for by property or city taxes. The Prairie Lights budget and the entire Lake Park fund is paid through user fees. We strive very hard to give Grand Prairie residents price breaks. For example, Lynn Creek Park admission is free much of the year, excluding special events and holidays. The Pre-Paid Fast Pass was requested by our Prairie Lights customers and it is just for those who do not want to wait in line at the park. Our admission prices are $35 and $45 per entire carload, and in my opinion, is the best family value in holiday light shows in DFW. We also run numerous specials for residents to save either $5 or more depending on the coupon. And, your price includes two carnival rides, the drive-through park, the new walk-through park, and the snow-maze. We really think of families each year.
