Hmm, that's weird. Once my father gave me this camera when I was 7-8 years old, if I'm not mistaken, it was in 2014, and it lasted until 2019, when I foolishly decided to put pressure on the lens so that the camera turned off faster, and in the end I just damaged the lens, as a result of which the camera it stopped turning on. And as far as I remember, when recording the video, the scale was much better than shown in the video, and besides, format there was a 16:9. I don't think I'm confusing this camera with any other, as I recently found it in my father's closet and checked the model name on the bottom of the case, after which I entered this name into the search and found a lot of videos about this particular camera.

@@Mangomaymay Maybe you somehow specified in the camera settings that the image format when shooting video should be 4:3 instead of 16:9? But if you really cropped the image to this format then... okay... surely you wanted to create a "retro" effect. So as for the zoom, then you probably definitely changed something in the settings, otherwise I can't explain that my zoom was real (optical), and for you it's just stretching the picture.
