Ya until the cops show up to your gang asking who did it and your own gang snitches on you and throws you under the bus.

story was nice, photography could be better but fits perfectly the mood. only thing is the focus, in close up shots, if u choose to shoot wide open, it's best to nail the focus on the eye rather than the nose

Written, Directed & Created by Manny Jimenez Sr. (instagram.com/MannyJimenezSr ) Inspired by true events - SUSPECT ENTERTAINMENT - is a half-hour gangster comedy/drama with a spiritual & redemption impact - based on the life of Manny Jimenez Sr. and his journey in Hollywood. After experiencing a miracle and getting released from jail, Manny gets a second chance at a new life and commits himself to going legit. But he soon realizes that society only sees him as a gang member, so he doesn’t have many options. With a pile of bills, a new baby on the way, and the encouragement of his baby mama Connie, Manny is determined. Inspired by Robert Downey Jr. and Martha Stewart’s stories, Manny remembers his childhood dream - to work in the movies - HOLLYWOOD. So with no connections, he and Connie go on a mission to find him work in the film industry. Rejection after rejection, Manny keeps going. He eventually breaks in and gets on an actual movie set, but his first day is not what he expected. Manny then realizes everything he learned in the ‘hood prepared him for Hollywood. Not many youngsters get offered a pass from a big homie. Take it and run little man! Otherwise it will be a life of regrets and tears. "Hey young world... the world is yours!" Coming from one who knows. Peace!

Get out man. There’s nothing but hate and death in that lifestyle. You are worthy of much more. Jesus Christ loves you, believe in him for the forgiveness of your sins and the gift of eternal life. Read the Bible 🙏

My great aunt and uncle lived in Boyle Heights long ago in the 1930s and early 1940s. Back then there were Asian and Eastern Europeans still in that area. My uncle remembered the pachucos and the Zoot Suit riots. Then like the other Japanese Americans in 1942 he was sent to an internment camp. People always say shit about East LA but its a rich cultural area where people live and work and play and try to survive despite the crime. ❤
