Nausea, is horrible.

I started taking Farxiga in Aug. 23 and I was surprised because for the longest time, it appeared to be not causing me any side effects, except for peeing more. However, in the last month, I started having trouble with both of my hips feeling like someone was sticking a knife in them, especially when seated. I also had lower back pain and at first, I didn't even think that it could be the med, but I ask my Dr. about it and he told me to lay off of it for awhile to see if things got better. I've been off it for three days now and my hips and back have already quit hurting. I'm not a diabetic, but he had given it to me because I'm stage 3A CKD and thought it would preserve my kidneys.

Been on Jardiance a week, so far, more side effects then benefit. Very expensive drug to wait 24 weeks for full effects. I experience lightheaded feelings, my voice has become horse and feeling more fatigued. Drinking more than enough water, but still think the drug is not doing much good.

But i guess than would cut into profits. I actually had a fat as fuck doctor tell me that I use steroids because I have to have diabetes by my age. Then I was told to eat a decent amount of sugar. I found a different doctor

I have been taking metformin for 35 years ( I just turned 80) and not once has it caused me to have diarrhea. In the last couple of years I have had constipation which I suppose could be from long term metformin..or, just from getting old. I am now 80 and starting to think my only metformin side effect is longevity. I can live with that one....

The side effects aren't worth it. I've read so many reviews and everyone is miserable. I took monjaro and was in the ER for pancreatitis.i could barely eat i was so nauseous. I was dizzy, had a headache, and a horrible stomach ache. This is not how i want to lose weight and get healthy. These shots make us bulimic. My Dr told me monjaro causes pancreatic issues. So he said hey try trilicity instead! It's in my fridge, i am way too afraid to try it after how i felt on the other one. I want to function and feel good as i lose weight not be miserable and puking every day.

I've tried all of these tips and it didn't make any difference. I had SIGNIFICANT diarrhea. I could not tolerate it at all.

You are absolutely right, Doctor! I have discovered all what you are talking about throughout 25 years of treatment! I am now happy with Glumetza, 1000mg at lunch (my bigger meal of the day) and 500mg at supper time. For many years I was taking 500 mg at breakfast but was not eating enough as I just had milk, coffee and 1 or 2 toasts: which was a terrible mistake! The bloating has disappeared since I am taking green cardamome boiled in the water used for my expresso coffees. Candesartan relieved me lately from the diarrhea coming from a generic medication I had been candidly taking for decades, since my first prescription of metformin because my GP coupled them immediately together !

What is the difference with Farxiga and Ozempic? I was first on Farxiga but could not keep my blood surgers up but was losing weight. Switched to Ozempic and side effects have not been to bad except for constipation. Not sure will happen when I increase it to 0.5, I eat plenty of fiber but it does not help.

Having been here over five years and I still haven’t. Weird they say you need to leave your house to meet people. Figure that lol. But now being on 1.00 I’m bed bound up practically. For the first our days. I can’t have that. I had to quit a new program that pays for university for two years I have to get better first. I’m too old to be put on hold. I’m starting a new career at almost 50 😔. I’m going to go down. From 1.00 to .50 My dr had been asking if I need too.
