Some knitters in hot summer in Spain knitted huge “blankets” and strung them across hot city streets, cooling the place tourists shop.

This is SOOOOOO GREAT!!! I have been crocheting for fifty years. This is so healthy for these girls and teachers. So many life skills are learned. Tenacity, persistence, creativity, self confidence and GROWTH TO MEET CHALLENGES! Learn to be the Victor instead of Victim! Y’all continue to have fun and build those social skills and build lifelong Friends! ❤️👏🏻❤️👏🏻❤️👏🏻

Good stuff. He is a placid guy with a beautiful family. I think his story and his manner speaks of what this activity is. Warm, inviting, engrossing and whimsical. Purity. Thank you

My grandfather, who was from Scotland, knit his own socks because his feet were so large he couldn't get store bought socks that fit, and with the fact that my grandmother had 8 kids by the time she was 24, there was no one to knit his socks for him. My grandmother did knitting and sewing (on a treadle) for most of the family. They taught me to knit at 5. A real blessing, to be sure.

Hi! Are you putting two strands at a time to increase the density/thickness? If I wanted to use one strand at a time in the same size mesh, what thickness of yarn do you recommend? What about acrylic vs cotton? Why use one over the other? Thanks for your input!

Been working on learning mosaic crochet for over a year now! Love the look of it! Have ADHD along with having had a stroke so what used to take me a little effort to learn now takes forever! But my brain (think autism) makes me try and try and try yet not quite get it… but keep on trying!!! Same with learning mosaic knitting from Barbara Walker!

Hannah Busekrus is the most talented artist I've ever met in my entire life on any medium. She is a living legend. Yes, she's my ex sister in law, but it doesn't make it any less true, lol.

Hello, this is so wonderful! Question, do you only receive 7x9 inch squares? Is one able to create a granny square one piece blanket?
@CraftYarnCouncil3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! To answer your question, we do not only take the section. We will take any knitted or crocheted item that can keep someone warm, like blankets, hats, scarves, gloves/mittens, baby items, and more. Please visit our website to learn what items we need most right now: warmupamerica.org/make/current-needs/.
