@KarloBatrla I'll be trying some Donlis pickups and hopefully they'll sound as awesome as yours ^^

Donlis just listed two or three of these "DH05" pups: DH05, DH05 (Pure Blood) or DH05-Z Did you measured it with a multimeter? bc they have slightly different ohms.
@KarloBatrla2 ай бұрын
No, i can just tell that one i have has a slightly lower output than Seymour Duncan SH6 Distortion on the same string distance :) Noticed while recording

i have problems with the Tuning Stability on the g and b string. I can tune it but somehow it makes a clip sound and its out of tune i guess its the Nut... which one i can easly change without doing much of preperation?
@KarloBatrla3 ай бұрын
Maybe it is worn out a bit under that string, you can try to fill in the slot with graphite from pencil. I did not change nut on this SZ, but this one should fit without issues, measures look OK and people on some old Ibanez forum recommended it for SZ: graphtech.com/products/tusq-6-string-electric-nut-43mm-x-6mm?variant=40523910807575

@@KarloBatrla Ah thanks. May I ask how your car is doing in terms of reliability and all the usual questions? Lately I have really starting to appreciate Alfas, especially 159s. I'm looking at diesels models, and currently have my eyes on a 2.4 JTDm as well with 200xxx on the clock. Upgrading from a Peugeot 206+ 1.4HDi haha.

Love your car and it will love you back. :) I had to change couple of expensive items over the years of course, clutch&flywheel, suspension, acu compressor, etc... It does have around 385000km now, still going strong. There are still spares for almost everything that might need fixing
@FB-uq9wnАй бұрын
@@Subliminal3117 hey man, asside from standard maintnance and bits often changed in diesels, my only gripe with my own 159 (4 cylinder) was a lazy starter that took me a long time to figure out. I do work on my own engines, so stuff like swirll flaps delete is not much of an issue in my book ( I have yet to get to it tho...). It's apparently recommended to change your belt every 50K km or 5 years, so keep that in mind. They are formidable cars and more reliable than their badge would let you believe, but like any car if you actually care for your vehicle they really are a blast. Apparently the gearboxes are very brittle ( i think it's only on the 1.9 diesel) but at 200k km have not had any issues yet. Power stiring will scream at you if you put in the wrong fluid tho. Do your research, use your head, care for the car and they end up being a no brainner, they are so cheap nowadays and so few cars give you that amount of passion and soul it's hard to not recommend in my opinion, even if you set aside the rest of the budget you would have put down to buy a german car of the same segment in order to give it some maintance ( so far the only issues i had came from improper care from previous owners,or outright ommited issues, and not the car itself). Did you end up buying one ?

Good for palm muting, saddles dont have any sharp points on top and, at least on my guitar, when action is set low enough, saddle screws are 'in' deep enough so they dont stick out of the saddle and dont touch the hand at all

Before I've decided which type of virtual drums to buy, I've did quite some research and carefully observing how they showcase their product and how it sound at the end of a day. Also, if you think about how the underlying technology works you can predict some issues that they might have. Since PocketDrums use accelerometers, that means they must integrate acceleration to know their position over time, since numerical integration comes with accumulating and growing error, that means that you might observe elements drifting in space over time. I haven't yet seen any PocketDrum video sounding as good as some Aerodrums video. This video's performance if far from perfect, but my opinion is that among all virtual drums, Areodrums give most natural feel (as close to acoustic as you can go).

I have to try mine with D tuning. Dat's a very nice sound. Is a SZ320 worth putting three times the money into upgrades that the guitar cost me used? I paid $99 for mine at a hockshop took about two seconds to decide it was going home with me. I/D pickups in mine sound nice through my Deluxe Reverb.

@alexanderhanksx7 ай бұрын
A thousand times yes. I'd put locking tuners and strap locks on it before spending any money on electronics, though. The stock pickups rule and you can always dial back the volume a bit to clean it up. The SZ's are your basic two humbucker solid body guitar done the right way.
