@@anggatamatirto541 yes, the AE version has the ninja star bokeh and honesty I don't mind. The sharpness is good as week. I'll do a Carl Zeiss and Nikkor AI-S comparison soon, I got both sets.

They are cheaper and easier to find otherwise you should get the MM version, a little more expensive and hard to create a whole set. Take a look to Nikkor AI/AI-S lenses as well, they worth it, good image, cheaper and easy to find.

I think the fringing and the IR filter are not related I mean the fringing is part of the lens and it´s more noticeable when it´s wide open and it depends on which lens you are using. I did some test with 50mm at 1.4 and the fringing is too much and it improves when it´s at 1.8 and it doesn´t matter if I have the IR filter or not. The 6K Pro it has internal ND filter + IR but I have seen sometimes it's not cutting IR pollution properly, there is a comparison video on my channel it's a Nisi ND + Nisi IR cut vs Internal 6K Pro filters.

Re: your first point, I understand the fringing is mainly the lens and not so much to do with IR, as well as, the more you close your f/stop the less it is noticeable. It's just that your tests seemed really nice, and the only difference would be the ND and IR filter so it just made me wonder, especially because the some of the fringing is purple-ish, I wondered if any would be on the spectrum that IR cuts out. It depends on your own needs. You could compare the three cameras (cost, braw, lens mounts, FF or S35, etc) and see what they offer and the make a decision so I can't tell you which one :).

Yeah but I guess it's because not "converted" FD to EF lenses aren't compatible with BMPCC 6K Cameras so the soft look is worst. The FD to EF adapters have a glass in the middle.

I have not tested them properly yet. I did a quick comparison with a Meike S35 25mm, Nikkor 24mm and CZ 25mm and all of them have a good image quality, Meike generates a warmer image and Nikkor a colder image (more neutral in fact) however the Contax is in the middle :) a bit warm but not too much and it has this strange circular flare which I like it too. I'll do more test once I get a Contax 35mm or 50mm. Nikkor are cheaper and easy to complete the lens set.

I noticed chromatic aberration using 50mm at f/1.4 and sometimes at f/2.0 in some specific highlights when they are not in focus otherwise 50mm at f/2.8 works well. Check the video, the footage is there.

I wouldn't use FD-EF adapter because it has an optical glass and the image it looks too much soft. In my test I used f/8 and ND filters to reduce that softness I don't recommend it honestly. I've seen that some people change the mount from FD to EF so you won't need a FD-EF adapter and it seems better.
