@chidonchea2 ай бұрын
@@Chi-HacksAndDIYs no. I don’t think it was necessary. They do a very good job at keeping the group together. They also make course changes depending on the speed of the group. If you’re bringing your Garman, just make sure you have that Taiwan maps loaded on it. You can then load the hotel destinations on the navigation. I would also bring an ass saver type fender in case it rains, plus it will help you in locating your bike when you park it.

Great job Stan! The loss of your snack bag must have been a bummer!
@chidonchea3 ай бұрын
@@joefenech6839 it’s a design flaw, I overloaded the bag with grapes. I had no idea where it fell off. Funny part is at the rest stop at the top, they had prepackaged grapes in snack size ziplock bags and I grabbed a bunch of them. I ended up coming across my dropped snack bag. It was smashed to juice on a badly pot hole street named Stanley

Yes. Gearing is harder. 39x28 I normally rode 34x28 The 28 tire on the rear felt a lot more comfortable and stable on the rough roads. Next time I buy tires will be at least 28. The dura ace 11 chain appears to wear faster than DA 10 speed chain. Enjoy the concert. Surprising amount of hits and he still sounds great

I have to give her a lot of credit. Because all those people wanting a piece of me would really bug the crap out of me. She rode by, 10 miles away from my house on PCH. And I didn’t go see her because I didn’t want her to be bugged for my selfishness. I wouldn’t make a very good famous person. 🤣
@chidonchea4 ай бұрын
@@Shawn-in-da-Canyon she put out the invitation to ride with her. But I was a little concerned about the skill level of some. It’s something else if a famous person was trying to enjoy their lunch and have some knucklehead go up and bother them for a selfie. You still have another chance to ride and cheer on a famous rider. Vegan Cyclist is trying to break the Canada to Mexico record next week. He will be riding down along the coast and will be sharing tracking info
