To all you males wondering why this officer isn't behind a desk....? First, this looks like a very rural area. In my rural precinct, there are only 4 officers in the entire department to cover the whole county, two officers covering a 12 hr shift. I don't think those who live in urban areas, where a swarm of cops can be in any location in 5 minutes, really get that. Second, if the officer is still able physically to do their job, they cannot be denied active duty (it would be discrimination and against the law). And before y'all say, "look at the vid! she ain't doin her job since she got overwhelmed!"..... I've watched many videos where a lone but big muscular cop got overwhelmed easily by a scrawny defendent on a drug high. Stop with the chauvanistic attitudes that because she's pregnant, she's a shrinking flower that can't handle anything. Sheesh, enter the 21st century already.
