Jerry Lee Lewis was one of the founding fathers of Rock and Roll. And if you notice, even when he's playing with his eyes closed or with his foot, the notes are accurate. An amazing performer!

Thank goodness I survived my twenties (back when this song came out) I was stupid enough to be in the front line of this mosh pit. Now that I'm in my 50s...no thanks. I'll rock out from the bleachers. Fuck that pit lol. I had my day in that shit. It was nuts.

I was lucky enough to see Stevie the year before his tragic death. It was in a small concert hall and was fantastic. I have seen many of the best but none better than Stevie.I still cry sometimes about it.

Seriously. James Taylor is one of the best vocals of all time, I loved Elvis too, but Sweet Baby James blew him out of the water on this one.. Sorry, your reaction was Biased, and clearly you had listened to them before... Credibility?????

So , Little Willie Nohn was the first to put out that song, he was a black dude in the 1950's. If it was popular, than some one White would do it and of course it would become a big hit. You would NEVER know that it was recorded by a black person first, and that is the one I preferred. I didnt know Elvis had recorded it but it was a big hit for Peggy Lee.
