My young lady friend of some 60 years standing was born with glaucoma in one eye and as I was always attracted to those with "Broken Wings" fell in love with her immediately!! Her calm acceptance of her condition due to her mother's birth problems was amazing! So, she'll always have the "Prettiest Eyes" to me especially as she always considers that "There's people worse off than me" Can't help loving her!!!❤

Never heard this song until today (on the radio) (The Wave in SLC) but I've had this thought a thousand times scrolling through Tinder photos. You KNOW the woman is a shit-show when her main photo is a shot of her with her cleavage in full effect. "Is that all that you've got?" Usually, in those cases, the answer is Yes.

As relevant today if not more so - just look around KZbin and Tik Tok... Not even an industry to complain about this time, just people flaunting their boobs to get famous due to the large majority of men being dribbling clowns.

Achingly beautiful - a deep and meaningful love song, written by one of music's most underrated wordsmiths. I love the idea that each facial line represents a happy memory, and celebrates ageing and meaningful companionship, rather than lamenting it. My wife and I are now both in our 60s, but this has been "our" song for many, many years. She still smiles every time the last verse puts tears in my eyes........

Does anyone know who the guy sat beside Paul Heaton is? He also plays the husband in the music video for "Don't Marry her". Just curious!

Y'all know this song is the reason Briana left the band, for real yo. Catchy sure but why diss the big breasted beautiful girls taking the opportunity afforded to them, if you resent beauties gettin rich for flaunting their bodies, aim your guns at the media and society in general. Briana got it, do you?

I remember listening to this back in 1994, the song lyrics were not understood back then - I was 6 when this came out, now at 37 I listen to it thinking about the "60 25th Decembers, 59 4th July's" and although I am a bit away from those numbers they seem a lot closer and the lyrics mean so so much more to me now.
