Glad I bought my Sebenza 25 in 2012 it was perfect no weird break in period so smooth from the 1st opening ; take it apart why no cries of issue in doubt ever done a lot with dressed 4 deer with it just rinsed period. DON’T USE A HAMMER, USE AN ‘IRWIN QUICK GRIP’ TO COMPRESS THE SCALE BACK INTO POSITION WITHOUT USING ANY AGGRESSIVE TOOLS WHICH COULD DAMAGE THE SCALES! The rubber pads on the ‘Quick Grip’ are more gentle and so you don’t need to use cloth, card or any other protective measures, just make sure the pads are cleaned and clear of debris before using them?

I carried my ots auto for 30 years. At 30 years that would be about 16 times a day. I’m sure when I first got it it was more than that. I open and close my shoot out every morning and evening at least 2 times each.

anyone who knows a thing or two about knives wouldn't ask Mike for advice. the fanboys love it though and it does serve him, having a company with next to no QC the best he can hope for is people collecting his knives like pokemons. that being said I own 3 BRK and only one of them was a good tool right out of the box. the other two had to be modified to be used as intended and do fine after the mods. for the price I find this extremely shameful, especialy when Mike hides behind bogus excuses rather than uphold his supposed warranty. I'd rather spend my money and find "advices" elsewhere 🤷‍♂️

Heres the thing about the Big Boy; I want it but if I get it I want to use it. I know that it may not be the best at anything it does but some people who have one say it isnt good for anything at all aside from looking at. Im willing to compromise a little in usefulness for the sake of cool factor but not to the point of uselessness. I also wonder if the people who say it has no utility are completely disregarding self defense.

I can tell you right now, G10 over Micarta. I dressed an animal awhile back and the blood and fat/oil dissolved the Micarta. I have never had that issue with stacked leather or G10.

The flaw with both the Shaman and the new Bodacious is that the thumb hole is partially covered up by the scales - it's really annoying and it's such an easy fix. I don't like it on the Shaman and I certainly don't like it on the new knife.

Pennsylvania recently became legal for OTF’s - and I now have 18 Microtech’s - mostly the newer OTF’s and 3 folders… I will be adding multiple versions of the new Ultratech and the Atreus - my daily carry was my first Ultratech I bought last year, an orange apocalyptic Tanto - can’t wait for natural clear Tanto Ultratech’s with dual fuel, the new pocket clip and glass breaker and the zero blade play system. Brilliant work from Microtech!
