Ive seen people take there neighbour to court in same circumstance, the neighbour had to dig up ground and fill with ricks gravel and sand to act as natrual filter.

You will occasionally find game fish in you pond. The pelicans and other bird would lose them or when we flooded we have some new friends. Biggest problem i had was frogs and toads. Id skim them and their slime out and take it to the swamp.

Maybe in summer put a partial long net to create shade. I had this problem with my ponds in new orleans until i did this plus large elephant ears around the edges. Get a couple of weeping willow trees that in a few years will grow big. A swamp willow too. My swamp willow in the front yard grew to 70 foot within 4 years. The pond scum must be hell on your fountain filters. I was cleaning mine out every week. Then i got some of those algea eaters at the pet store. They start out at 4 inches. Mine grew to 10 inches each and took care of all the algea in the goldfish pond. The algea eaters scared the hell out of me the first time one surfaced when i put koi pellets in. Thats how efficient they are. If your water gets really cool in winter the algea eaters will die but in the spring restock them. Cover at least 60%. My house sold in 1 day. The man that bought it did so because of the ponds. I still had 30 days to move but he came every day to take care of them. One day he ran in my back door shouting "we have babies"

I would just buy a whole new bcg. Who knows what else could have been affected spec wise. Its compromised imo. At the very least swap the whole bolt and try it with the carrier and see if it runs but my guess would be that bcg will give you some problems feeding later and you'll think its other things.

I would check head spacing once you rule out the ammo. I've seen a lot of people who build their own guns and never use any gauge to determine if everything is to spec and it causes this to happen.

Okay so first off are you okay? that’s concern number one for me. Was there anymore damage done to the rifle besides that? I own AR-15’s so I guess for me it’s a cause to wonder how to not have this happen because explosions in a rifle is cause for concern especially in a rifle that’s supposed to be relatively safe to shoot.
