Perché quegli assurdi crescendo e diminuendo, INESISTENTI? A volte viene il dubbio che pur di fare qualcosa di originale si stravolga l'esistente, vedi le regie, o presunte tali nei vari teatri d'opera..........

Phenomenal piece of music. I love the chords especially as they progress from 2:40 onwards. Always makes the hairs on the back of the neck stand up. The slower tempo of this version also adds to the inherent dynamic tension.

I could do without the musical epilogue at the very end, but who am I to quibble--this is Rossini at his very best. The pianist, alto and chorus were all wonderful.

Le rythme me semble très rapide, le choeur peine à suivre de temps à autre. Quelques contrastes trop marqués, notamment au début.
