Sir, there is definitely a difference between true generic medicines and Brand products. Branded medicine manufactured by Big companies like cipla, sunpharma etc. And these companies taking all the care about product quality like impurities, hygiene, efficacy through studies and analysis but in case of Generic medicines, these are manufactured by small companies which don't have regulatory control, and the quality of the product is also poo quality. E.g these companies using poor quality of API etc
