I think the elements series are based on Latin words.

Great video, thank you. This is a fabulous piece. I was at a show a few weeks ago and held some CD’s which were amazing compared to production versions and am now looking at purchasing one. The step up for a CD is worth it, having experienced some, I get that. The step up again for a custom is purely a scarcity purchase in my view, but happy to be convinced otherwise if I can physically hold and flip a custom 🙏

I am having morning coffee right now actually. I just got a Chevron with micarta and thumbstuds. It's an awesome little knife for sure. The thing is beautiful. Blade is amazing and honestly I'm very interested to see how Magnacut performs. The only issues I have with this knife are that it's a bit small for me and the action was very stiff out of the box. I took it apart and cleaned/lubed the knife. It's still pretty stiff action wise but it got a lot better after I did that. Once it breaks in? Well, I'm pretty sure it will end up being one of my favorite knives. Again, it's beautiful and it's super high quality. I chalk up the stiff action to the fact that Reate makes their knives with super tight tolerances. And although it's a pain in the thumb right now? In the long run that's a good thing. Thanks for the video.

Why? That’s like saying you want two different kinds of light switches in your room or wanting two clutches (top pivot and floor mounted) in your car. Would have made more sense to just say that you don’t like flippers.

BUY USA MADE KNIVES. Yeah, I was into collecting pocket knives. Then, I actually wanted to cut materials, so I got into woodworking. As soon as there is an association between this and terrorism Im 100% out the door. These people are flying drones packed with explosives into family homes with kids in them every single day. It needs to stop. I am detecting a very real disconnect from reality here. With that money, i would buy quality chisels, a table saw, japanese hand saws, a mitre saw, router, jointer, plainer, and floor space. Then, i would use them to actually be productive. Sir, I am going to have to ask you to GTFO of here with that nonsense item.

@@Alex-hw2me Doubling the price in first few days, yea that doesn't sound fishy at all! One would think they'll run out of limited edition, before the price hike. I wonder how many of 100 made were actually sold to the customers for the original price. I would bet much less than 10

[[BEFORE ANYONE WATCHES THIS ABOMINATION OF A VIDEO]] PLEASE go watch Dr. Frunkey’s video on Scott Cook and his Lochsa so you can have the proper context and understanding to truly appreciate this knife and how it came to be. Because this ass clown CLEARLY hasn’t got a clue. How do I know this to be the case, you ask??? Well, I’m 22 min into this video, and this ignoramus has yet to even mention the fact that Scott Cook is the man who fucking INVENTED the integral titanium frame lock, and he did so 100% by hand without the help of any modern CNC technology. What a HUGE slap in the face to Scott Cook and his monumental contribution to the knife community. You ought to be ashamed of yourself man.
