Harry so influenced me that every year I taught the choral art (36 of 42 yrs.), we started the Christmas Concert with the processional "Adeste Fidelis" (in Latin) no matter the ages. True to Harry, one verse would be a cappella, one verse of the standard harmonization, two verses of the Willcocks harmonization including the descant, and the remaining verses were my own alternate accompaniments. Thank-you to both West Chester State and the infamous Dr. Harry Wilkinson, my professor, mentor, and dear friend.

I’ve watched Lea’s rehearsal KZbin of this song several times and just stumbled across Rachel Ziegler’s version of it. Rachel has a prodigious voice but I didn’t feel the pain and heartbreak like I did with Ms. Salonga. This masterclass session just underscores her skill as an artist after 30 years in the business.

Some excellent performances, but visually untidy with too many people who aren't all together, and very uneven sound. And the camera work . . .no further comment. I should add that the orchestra is good.

I love the fact that she's coaching high school kids. Most greats in musical theater and other art forms, especially opera only want to help privileged college students or graduates. Performers from all walks of life deserve coaching, even if they are amateurs. The kid has an excellent voice.
