Why tf would you wipe the shaving cream with the towel? Doesn't it make more sense to flush all the little hairs and soap with freaking water since you are standing above the sink?

I still use this brush. Never did buy the cream refills. Simply use it with brush soap, when available, or some creamy type hand soap. Since I have mostly had a beard, it is used on my neck and cheeks. The decal on the side faded decades ago.

The cream I use for my beard is so smooth it feels like hair gel I use it a lot and when I use it I feel good like I'm back in my high school days with my girlfriend

I'm currently 25 and I'm thinking about ditching the electric razor (it's the only type I've ever used btw), but I heard that cartridge razors can mess the skin up. Is the safety razor practically painless in comparison? Will I feel any nicks from a safety razor at all?

Hey its been 4 months but I'll reply. Safety razor can be painless so long as you're not too rough on your skin. It's actually less irritating to the skin than any cartridge will be. I recommend starting with the Parker 22R or King C Gillette Chrome. Make sure to apply hot water and shaving cream of your choice so your face will be soft and lubricated. A good after shave liquid or lotion will also help. There is certainly a learning curve to using a safety as you must angle it good. Not every shave will be perfect keep that in mind and perfect your technique.

I liked this machine it has a brutal edge if you are not careful you can cut it, it is excellent better than the disposable ones

Shouldn't have done it! A while back, I took my 6 month beard back down to 6 weeks and I went into shock. I was so disappointed in myself for doing it. Anyway, I'm back up to a few months growth. When I get to 6 months again, I'll get it trimmed & shaped by a professional barber. Keep the best of it, and trim/style the worst. What I won't ever do again is just 'take it all down'... If you've not got much hair up top, then a beard is essential.

I've been using a straight razor for a year now but lately I've been thinking about switching to a safety razor. I always had doubts because I was afraid that safety just wouldn't cut as clean as straight, but this video proved me wrong. I think I'll mainly use safety from now on, especially since it looks much more comfortable to hold, specifically for the neck area. Excellent shave man.
