Thank you so much for posting this video! One of my fondest childhood memories was watching these races for hours. My dad videotaped this and many others on VHS (long gone now), but I still remember watching this race like it was yesterday. I wanted Ivan Stewart to win so bad!

Guy cooper was my favorite rider as a kid. Those tracks look a lot tougher then todays lol

I'm surprised that the US hasn't won more. We're 3 times the size most of the countries that compete. We have 2 of the 3 biggest MX/SX series on the planet. I'd bet we have the most recreational riders than any other country. If anything, I'd say our country underperforms when compared to others.

Davis is one of the fastest riders that never had the opportunity to be one of the SX/MX legends. He was a privateer through his early years, and won the title this year as a privateer. Pretty big deal.

I like watching a couple GPs from a season in the 80s then watching the MXdN from the same year. That way I can see Geboers put 20 secs on the 250 field, then see Ricky Johnson put 30 secs on Geboers 😂😂😂🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
