Did 2 rotations to the 'Bouti. Once as avionics and second time as Jolly FE. Getting settled into Lemonnier sucks, but once you're there, man I honestly didn't mind those deployments.

This cockpit view sent me straight back to the low level flying i was able to experience in Northern Ireland in the late nineties. I sat jumpseat on a couple of occasions in the Chinook and as passenger on various others. The sensation of movement and motion is awesome to experience. Really enjoyed watching this with a grin on my face, thanks.

I was doing training in england with the infantry and we saw a black hawk doing these spirals toward the ground all day dunno what sort of training they were doing but the dude in the door had us cracking up he was dancing giving us the finger doing all sorts of shit the cpl training us had to face us away from the direction they were doing their training because we kept laughing and looking up at them was amazing to see and the push ups we got for getting distracted were well worth the memory

I saw this video before I joined and became a crew chief. Thought it was pretty cool. Watching it again and shocked to see it's 6115 flying. This video was not long before it got transferred to my unit in FL. We just retired this heli last month.

Awesome video! Built thousands of these Blackhawks! Never gets old. What makes this video awesome is I never knew how well they handled. Cause I could never get a ride. Till this day 18 years in company. Still no ride… Cause of insurance reasons. Boo… But put a bunch of those ge engines in. And driveshafts gear boxes. Everything from ass to elbows on that bird. Definitely build well! Enjoy the ride! Thanks to all you men and women serving. I give it 110% at work everyday for all of you. I want my troops coming home safely!
