This is easily one of the best action sequences in film history, and it's not even an action movie.

No one, and I mean no one, has questioned the meaning of the transponder. It is the single reason he shoots the managerial types. In the book he returns the money, saying you dealt with dishonorable men, now you deal with me. Why place a transponder unless you intended to recover the money to begin with? Just in case it was stolen? Ok, but the sellers are going to find out sooner or later and that might make them a little testy. When Chigurh sees the receiver, he figures it out quickly.

We never see Chigurh in this scene apart from shadows and silhouettes, just the ghost and absolute force of nature he is.

If I had one nitpick about this movie, I'd say it's a little dumb that for how careful and thoughtful Llewelyn is, if he knew he was being chased that he didn't think to look for a tracker. I don't know if trackers are just rare or new tech at this point in time the story is set in, but I remember thinking, "this guy is so prepared from the very start and he didn't think to do the first thing he should have done?" Again, just a nitpick.

Don't get why he stood in front of the door and with the window to his back. If he would have been more patient, he might have won the battle

Two huge mistakes of main characters in this movie: 1. Carson should have kicked back when Anton closed the distance between himself and Carson on the stairs. His gun was down. 2. Moss should have shot through that door when he saw Anton standing. Both mistakes ultimately cost them their lives..in Moss' case, his wife's life too.

It's a crime how this great scene was just cut in half.

You gotta love the irony that the guy who was the biggest challenge to Anton was a hunter. Moss was a resourceful guy. He knew how to improvise, set ambushes and he could give as good as he got. He definitely had an edge over the others Anton faced. But there was one thing the Moss has that Anton doesn’t that ultimately got him killed. Humanity. Anton is a true hunter of men. Cold, methodical, clinical and devoid of mercy. There is nothing behind his eyes but a void. A black hole that consumes all that cross it. One of those rare men that can kill as easily as he breaths and plan ahead of his prey. Moss was good, but Anton is a killer born.

Still pissed at how much Llewyn literally and figuratively dropped the bag in this movie 😤 😂

Just hide behind the door to the room until Anton steps in through the doorway and shoot him in the right side of his head, then smash the tracker and you are home free with all the money. Go get your wife and move to Mexico.

One of the best scenes I ever seen in a cat and mouse scenario and just in cinema.

Un detalle de parte de la crítica de la película es que en efecto el sheriff no sólo es sobrepasado por la situación, sino que se hecho es incompetente, ya que es incapaz de relacionar la falta de bala en el segundo crimen de Chigurh con el aturdimiento de las reses del relato que cuenta a a Jean. La incompetencia en realidad la tiene todo el cuerpo, ya que la primera víctima ignoraba qué era la botella de oxígeno. Si llega a saber que era una pistola de aturdimiento, no le habría dado la espalda.

Liewelyn had street smarts but was in over his head. He ultimately was tracked down by the cartel without the use of the tracking device and killed. The tracking device shows he was in over his head.
