With the same price-1530$, would you recommend the M1 Pro or the M3? Both have 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. The M3 is brand new and comes with a 1-year apple warranty, while the M1 Pro is a refurbished model. I would use my macbook for coding and video editing

On Apple's refurbished website it is selling the m1 pro macbook Pro for 2179 SGD and the m3 MacBook Pro for 2229 SGD, both laptops have 16+512. So it is really a matter of whether you want better multicore performance, the ability to display two monitors with the lid open (MacBook Pro m3 can do two with the lid closed soon) and one extra thunderbolt over longer update support, longer battery life, higher brightness and better single-core performance.

Hola !! comprè dos rh_nrf24 , lo puse con dos arduino uno, dice que llega a 1000 mts. .pero a mi no me llega a 50 mts. .apenas, el regulador es de 800 mAh, la fuente 3.3 2A , los datos viajan OK pero no màs de 50 mts. .a lo sumo, ya probè todas las combinaciones posibles en el soft (MAX MIN , 250 kbps etc. ) - còmo puedo amplificar la señal , que tenga màs potencia ? con un transistor ? còmo ?

Currently I can get either an M1 Pro (16gb) or a baseline M3 (8gb) refurbished for nearly the same price. Even though the M1 is older and will lose support sooner, would you recommend I pursue the M1 Pro instead? Quick update: The only thing that stopped me from getting the M1 Pro is that it's not available refurbed through Apple officially. I read too many horror stories in the Amazon reviews to trust it. Ended up getting a refurbed M3 pro. A bit more money but I'm happy with it.

Personally, if it came down to those choices, I'd get the M1 Pro because of the RAM. 8 gb won't be enough unless you're just opening office software and a browser.

Laptops get support for much longer, around 10 years, I don't think you need to worry much about support here, I think M1 pro offers better value especially with that extra RAM and a much better GPU too

@@aymaanra I don’t have much to compare it to since I haven’t owned a MacBook in many years. But so far I’m having a great experience. No slowdowns whatsoever and working from it every day. I haven’t gotten into any heavy tasks yet but I do plan on some video editing in the future so we’ll see how that goes.

I would recommend getting a M1 Pro 16GB Ram with 512GB SSD. Save your money on internal storage and buy an external SSD if you really need it.

Some people just want a pro macbook but don't need the pro power. For example, me! I went ahead and bought a macbook pro m3 base model because I wanted the pro display, the pro speakers (which I use a shit tone), and a little bit more powerful of a chip. I also wanted a better battery life (as the m3 base model pro has the best battery ever in any macbook)

Also, the m3 is also faster, has a better display, and has more full speakers. Also, many people are not fine with buying refurbished or used. Also, the software longevity is much longer on the m3 macbook pro.

Same with me but I got m1 mbp 2 years ago. The best battery life. It’s ridiculous that after 2 years of everyday usage it still last like 12-15 hours depending on the task.
