Road looks sketchy. Was there plenty of spots to pull off for two cars?

Cool stuff, Tom. Where is this in relation to that little lake (pond?) visible on the map to the NW of Mt Baldy?

Glad y ou liked it, Owen -- not really intended to do justice to the song, but rather, to give you a sense of how your music is enjoyed around the world! Tom :-)

I still don't have the huevos to do this trail (ref: about 4.23 minutes into your video) so thanks, Tom, for making this great video so that I can really see how much I'm missing by being such a chicken. :)

Thanks for an amazing journey to accompany that song! (I'm sitting in the room where it was recorded, and looking out at Mount Hood through your camera ... this is weird, but great!)

Nice vid. Very entertaining. Wish I could get people to join me on my little adventures so I don't always have to do it alone. You're lucky to have this nice group of guys (even if some of them drive a little too fast).

I should have added to review notes that this spot was quite windy, and obviously, the microphone on the PlaySport was picking that up quite a lot.

Hey, it only takes me a year to get around to replying... not bad! This falls is on an unnamed creek on the north side of Eagle Creek, directly across from Chak Chak Falls. It's visible from the cliffs just east of Chak Chak falls.

This one is upstream from the other waterfalls by quite a distance. It looks to be a 15-20 foot drop in normal conditions, though inundated by high water on the day I was there.

I have traversed the SH Wilderness solo from the south, though 'Kaufman Camp' to Welches. I got lost at one point and, by luck, I found my way out. That whole wilderness is the best kept secret within driving range of Portland.

I was fairly bold - I parked down by the bridge, near the hatchery entrance and then walked up to the hatchery buildings to ask if I could hike up to the falls. To my great surprise, the staff offered to drive me up in a little service vehicle they use to transport around the hatchery. Deluxe service! The falls is about 1/8 mile up a dirt track from the main hatchery buildings.

Great video and a very powerful waterfall. What was your route to view this one? When we tried to go all the gates and stuff were shut. There was one dirt road heading upstream that said "Stay Out" or something like that.
