True forgiveness comes from a place of healing which might take hours, weeks, months or even years depending on how much you have been healed from the hurt.

The most painful thing is that the person doesn’t even accept that he/she is wrong. But like you said, I have found that it is rather profitable for me to forgive… but I will never have a relationship with such a person again. Keep what you are doing Selase. Love you
