My least liked powerup's from NSMBW would have to be 'Mini' & 'Ice Flower' the reason I dislike the first one is that well it is just a gimmick powerup in my opinion it really is only useful in World 2 most of the time and when you don't need it 'Which is basically all of the time' it is just annoying you are like normal small Mario but you need to 'Ground Pound' to kill even the most basic of enemies so in the end it was a stupid powerup in my opinion But now onto the reason I dislike the 'Ice Flower' powerup well why would I want to freeze enemies and throw them when I could just easily kill them in one shot with a 'Fire Flower'? Like cool I can use them as step's to get to higher places or throw them to kill multiple enemies But I can easily kill multiple enemies with the 'Fire Flower' and I can just use the 'Propeller' powerup to get to even higher places with way more ease and I get it if you have a Fire powerup it makes sense to have an Ice one but like the 'Penguin Suit' is just better you can freeze enemies like with the 'Ice Flower' But unlike the 'Ice Flower' the 'Penguin Suit' is much more useful you can swim better you can walk on slippery surfaces like they're normal you can slide on your belly which makes you be able to fit into slimmer gaps while also allowing you to easily jump while sliding so yeah just better in every possible way you could imagine the 'Ice Flower' is stupid and it was redundant to have it honestly the Ice ability should've just been the 'Penguin Suit' cause it is just a much better 'Ice Flower' in my honest opinion Important thing I wanted to put here to ensure I do not anger anyone cause I never meant to nor have I ever under this line -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One last thing you like the 'Mini' ability and that is cool I hope nothing I said offended you at all just my opinion if you like it that is cool not my thing at all again I really did not write this to annoy anyone that likes that powerup nor did I write it as if it were "Factual" because it isn't and it never will be same with what I said about the 'Stars' in the 'Extra' section of this huge ramble/rant whatever so yeah sorry :( Extra Stupid Rambling past this line for those who love to torture themselves have fun reading ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ you being able to have 'Stars' in your inventory is cool in concept but never have I ever had any reason to use them like they only last for a short amount of time and most level's don't start with a crap ton of enemies at the start cause the only time I'd ever use one is to kill a bunch to get 1-UP's so like yeah honestly the only time a 'Star' is useful in the game is for like '1-2' which I think is the first 'Cave' level in the game and you can get a 'Star' that has enough enemies for you to kill to get a boat load of 1-UP's so like once you beat it just do that over and over and yeah 99 Lives easy
