When Kobe was learning basketball, he only made 8 points. The whole summer. As a pro, he made a list of players to beat. He practiced at a local High School. After some games, at night. Another 30 minutes to an hour. Working on free- throws, and perimeter baskets. If they forgot to bring the key to the gym, he practiced outside. In dim light. Sometimes, in light rain.
