Griffith is such a hypocrite. Guts did exactly what he said a real friend would do and Griffith called it a betrayal. Guy just spews bullshit to try to sound better than he is, but deep down he’s an insecure, spoiled child who throws a tantrum the first time he tastes defeat. The opposite of The Struggler.

I don’t know anything about the anime but the first arc in the manga is a current. The next arc is a prequel then a time skip occurs and it goes on as normal.

Great story about never giving up and keeping going on, no matter what. Guts has had a very rough life from the start, and he never gave up.
