Ah, to live in a shire. I do, its called Lincolnshire. The area I live in is incredibly agrarian, despite being the largest population centre for its district. And its usually incredibly peaceful. Honestly, when Tolkien wrote about the shire, I can say with confidence that Lincolnshire must have been part of his inspiration.

Great song (in fact great soundtrack) for a great movie. What a beautiful gift.

I’ve been there !!!! I spent 5 months in New Zealand, and I went to the Shire : I was so happy to see hobbitholes for real that I cried 🥲 Now I live in Paris, and when I’m listening to this soundtrack, I feel like a hobbit far from home ...

This make me feel bringing closer in life and the Heavenly Father.

My wife and I always leave this running in the background while we put our child to bed. It is so calm and relaxing that our child falls asleep within 30 minutes. Sometimes all we have to do is hum this song to make our child fall asleep.
