The atmosphere and sound on this thing is x100 more evil and menacing that anything in the Nordic BM scene, whole thing sounds like straight from hell, drenched in reverb but hitting like fire under your feet. Nowadays they confuse sounding weak af with creepy.

Stacey Anderson from Hallows Eve was singing the lead vocals for this album. We’ve been on tour for our Coroner’s Office album in 1986 down in Atlanta, Georgia somehow playing The Metroplex and then up to the New England area playing from March til October. When I was reading this article in a magazine back in 1988 it’d rated the bands whom were the most extreme. All it read for Napalm Death Scum was the following except. Go out right now and get this release from the world’s heaviest GrindCore act of the United Kingdom; it is impossible to explain why. But just do it now because you will not be disappointed! I picked it up from a little localized place called Rocket 🚀 Records in the middle of the suburbs and although they’ve completely taken Our good friend’s style of playing those blast beats and Lee Dorian’s screaming his head off all manner of political issues ( if you read the lyrics) Bill Steer clearly had his shite together on guitar not to mention creating songs for yet another band called Carcass whose new album was going to make ND sound like a version of the same type of GrindCore acts out of Florida’s Morrisound Studios; ripping off Siege’s 1984 Lp Drop Dead 💀 was quite obviously the greatest thing that they’d could’ve ever done ☑️ Thanks 🙏🏻 again Mr. Leonadis for all your work piecing together these original demos from the Accused to Voi Vod our good buddies from Canada! I was very close with these guys and they would frequently open up for Us (Mortem) in my earliest musical act lol; professionally executed we were not; however I always loved hanging out with them; especially Bret and Paul whenever We started off a major touring going down to New York and see our old friends Incantation playing L’Amours and the old CBGB’s clubs and these guys were HUGE early on around the area playing with bands like Carnivore and Nuclear Assault etc! They were great drinking buddies as well! RIP 🪦 to their drummer and friend who passed awau far too young alongside my own singers both McCarthy and Seth’s band mates who were also my favorite bunch of great friends throughout my life and my career! He would purposefully overdose on the same day my brother and vocalist the late, great John McCarthy responsible for bringing the genre of music known as Doomsday Rock into the zeitgeist back in the early eighties. Some of ya’s knew who he was whether it be onstage or purchasing one or more of our own albums. I remember purchasing Left Hand Path in 1991 and I really enjoyed that release; fast forward to a few years later when I heard the Wolverine Blues Ep quite easily the most heavily armed Ep of 1993 besides maybe the follow up to that one ☝️ Clandestine in which they really started gaining momentum. Loved it the moment I listened to these crazy Swedes music and the way they wrote their own style of playing with the grinding and swinging patterns of their drums as well.
