@@Ten7Fishing It was the first time I’ve continued fishing for catfish through the winter months and it definitely paid off! I’m sure I’ll get skunked at some point, but the streak has been fun!

@@oboys1502 mackerel for most of them. I was trying Jewels catfish bait (Shad) for the first time and that was how we caught the one my son reeled in.

Nice I was there the 4th some guy next to me near crappie float caught like 15 back to back. I didn't get any. He even let me use one of his hook up bait. Still no luck. I did reel a 5 lb cat but it ate my crappie jig and I was using 2lb test. Sadly it broke off. I was using shrimp but did not get one bite. Were u just drifting from the wind or anchor down?

@@oboys1502 All of the catfish were caught while drifting. 3 on regular Carolina rigs and 2 with a rattle/float. There were 3 of us on the boat so we had a lot of bait in the water 😂🤣

Ok… My whisker seeker digital scale said 5 pounds 8 ounces. Minus 13 ounces for the lockjaw grips… I’m a detective not a mathematician, but that doesn’t equal 2 pounds. The other two fish I caught were smaller, but they were all fun to catch!
