Chill and fun game, loved watching. There a reason to do seperate patrol areas for each house you want to upgrade first instead of the connected bigger one you set up later on?

Is there villagers on this game too?
@jack_sparrow278 сағат бұрын
yes, but they appear solo in caravans scattered around the world

Only traders right now, but I believe other NPCs are planned at some point.

Great video, the game looks really fun and the progression system is fairly unique. Love the art style, for some weird reason it made me wanna play the classic board game "Die Siedler von Catan".

Quick suggestion: Could you chisel down two andesite blocks to form the steps to your smithy instead of using the stone block texture?
@Hmuda7 сағат бұрын
Not sure how the edges would look, the textures might not going to cooperate, but will give it a try if I remember.

I love the little fenced off church graveyard idea. I just put a few grave stones behind my first build when I built it in the early game and messed up my trade income flow for a bit by accident when the builders swiped all the stone from my storage. whoops.

I like that you started a "Foundation" series - I tried the demo and got lost by the different building methods and the way you show it makes more sense now, so thank you for that as well, good luck with this series, I hope it picks up and helps grow the channel

Unfortunately, this series season is finished. Next time, I can suggest you find out we'res the keys to unlock all the hidden train deposits 22:53 For example here there's one

2 things: 1: You don't have to reshuffle locomotives at service points. There's a knob on the left side of the service station that allows you to select which locomotive to service. 2: Damn shame it's over. I expect to see you drive an S282 next season. I won't stop asking.

Sometimes I still sleep to this Mechanicus music. Not good enough to become an engineer, but I like helping out mechanics on some vehicles, and fiddling around with robotics- especially robotic arms. Hoping to buy and program one in a month that can help sort things out on a desk (things like paper, cans, etc).

So, few misconceptions: The thermometer is not for the steam locomotives. It's for measuring the temperature of the brake shoes on your engine. The Amp limiter is the same thing as the Overheat protection, except it's for Diesel/Battery electric locomotives, presumably to prevent overspeeding. Button controllers do the exact same thing as rotary controllers. But it's just a button instead of a controller. Then a few tips: You can use anti-wheelslip on the steam locomotives. However, it's NOT good at controlling it AT ALL. Anti wheelslip will waste LOADS of sand. I therefore hook it up to a button to turn it off when I am not needing it. Personally have never messed with the DH4 and overheat... but a good usecase I can immediately see is putting the overheat fairly high, and setting it to 'cut'. Because the DH4 heats up SUPER fast with dynamic brakes. I know there's 1 more episode. Will continue to bully you to use the S282.

Thanks, it is great to see just how some of the added items work with the train and what is needed to install them. When you come back to this play through in your next go around you will have a fine engine to get going with. Looking forward to your new game play through next month. Have a great day.

Adding an extra comment to appreciate the details you put towards your videos. You don't script but certainly plan these videos. You do a fantastic job exploring what the game has to offer and interacting with the challenges the game has on offer in a confident and genuine way. This is how KZbin should be without being layered by greedy sponsors or something like. Love this channel, keep it up :)

From my experience you need black coal in order to have a CHANCE of fire clay. And... you might need a combination of black coal and brown coal. 100% black coal, not sure about the combination of brown and black. You should prospect around (the chunck search not the blocks one), if there is brown coal there might black as well nearby. Yeah brown coal is good for flint cooking. Dont forget about pies!!!

Making sturdy backpacks isn't really too complicated. But in order to mine the chromium you'll need a steel pickaxe, and in order to crush it you need steel pounder caps on your pulverizer. I made some of them in survival when 1.20 released the other day.
@kahvozeinsfang695312 күн бұрын
Also if you aren't opposed to adding a small QOL mod there is one I use that stops the fire pit from resetting it's temperature everytime it gets done with a cooking operation. I forget what it's called but it's definitely a very useful mod for everything from cooking to crafting from the fire pit

tractor of that size is probably only 3 or 4 tonnes, so 9-12 tonnes per flatcar, whereas the cars are probably 1-2, and there's ten of them, plus the car carriers are multi level, so more weight yet again. Tis nice to see a good long train on the rails, though :)
@Hmuda11 күн бұрын
I just went with what I saw in some Farming Sim videos, there the tractors need to move some pretty hefty stuff around, so I assumed they also need to be pretty heavy, so they don't topple over. :D
@Karelwolfpup12 күн бұрын
y'know, I was skeptical about the chopped up railbus could haul that 150+ tonnes, but it did it, kudos to it
@Hmuda11 күн бұрын
It also helps that there were no climbs along the way. Even a micro-shunter can carry a heavy load if it doesn't have to go uphill. It just take a bit longer. :P
