They have done well to make the place look nice. I just spent 3 nights there and it was the worst hotel experience of my life. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to talk to management about the room, and i got told they would get back to me, I then wasted the rest of the day waiting for them to call me back. Alright list of issues I had with my room at this place: BOTH locks of the 2 doors to the verandah (3rd story) were broken, I have 2 disabled children with me and when I complained about this, I was given a piece of rope to tie between the first and second door handles. That's right guys a bloody piece of rope, and expected that, that was acceptable. Floors were sticky from one room to the other, I spent 45 minutes mopping the floors in a hotel room the FIRST night i got there. Glass wall they had around the bath tub/shower (was a 2 in 1) was not even attached and was hanging off the tiny bit of silicon that was still attached to the wall. The toilet was leaking, so every time it was flushed the floor around it needed to be cleaned. The door to the master bedroom had a massive hole in it, due to the fact that the door opened up straight into the bedside table, and someone had just smashed it, there was putty dust and what not on the floor to the master as we first walked in. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work The website said heated pool/spa and yet both were completely turned off/broken so that's a lie. Several tiles in the kitchen and bathroom were broken and coming off the wall, one of the tiles that was half hanging off the bottom of the bench in the kitchen, cut my sons leg, and we then spent 2 hours in the doctors office for cleaning of the cut and a tetanus shot. I would STRONGLY consider ordering a room from ANY other hotel, I spent 2 weeks at the gold coast twice a week, always at different hotels, and this is the first in 10 years that have been so absolutely disgusting.

I’ve stayed there twice! Once in 1996 and again in 2019.

It's a dump people so out of date and rooms are smelly , old and musky . Shouldn't even be a bisness.
